I used the Be the Star and the Yippee-Skippee stamp sets from Stampin’ Up! to create my card to share today. I couldn’t resist adding one little sneak peek from the upcoming 2014 Holiday Catalog for you…I used the Confetti Stars Punch to add a few punches to the front of my card and to decorate the inside. 🙂
My card design was inspired by the Sunday Stamps SSC82 sketch.
I started by cutting a half circle from a panel of Flashback DSP with one of the Starburst Framelits dies. I adhered the die cut to a larger panel of Flashback DSP then wrapped strips of the Beach House Designer Washi Tape around a panel. I adhered the DSP panel to a panel of Basic Gray card stock with SNAIL, then to a Real Red card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I stamped the two star images from the Be the Star stamp set in Crushed Curry and Pool Party inks on matching colors of card stock and cut them out with the Stars Framelits dies. Then I stamped the star image from the Something to Say stamp set in Real Red ink on on a Real Red card stock panel and I punched it out with the star punch from the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack. I adhered the larger star with SNAIL and the two smaller stars with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I stamped the sentiment from the Yippee-Skippee stamp set in Real Red ink on a Very Vanilla card stock panel, punched it out with the Extra Large Oval Punch and adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I punched a few small stars from Real Red card stock with the Confetti Stars Punch (available Aug 28) and adhered them to the card front with just a touch of Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Then I colored a few Rhinestone Basic Jewels with my Cherry Cobbler, Daffodil Delight and Coastal Cabana Stampin’ Blendabilities Markers and I adhered them to the card front to complete it.
I punched the Confetti Stars Punch across the bottom of a Very Vanilla panel to complete the inside of the card.
I’ve got an idea for another holiday card rolling around in my head so I’ll probably be back to torment you with some more goodies from the Holiday Catalog tomorrow!! 😉

Super cute card Amy! It makes me smile.
Thanks Terri! 🙂
These were such great colors to combine & perfect with the washi tape addition! I’m in love with the Confetti Stars punch myself. It has a few bonuses, being able to make a cool background, of course the confetti, and also the way we can add a few stars here and there to our stuff 🙂 Win, win decision there! Yep, I got it already – hee hee 😉
Thanks Jill! That is a pretty cool punch, have fun using it!! 🙂
Beautiful card Amy! Really like how you used the washi tape on your card. The punched out stars are awesome! Need to add the confetti stars punch to my list! Thanks for creating with us at Sunday Stamps! Hope you will join us again.
