I used the Wondrous Wreath stamp set and matching the Wonderful Wreath Framelits set from Stampin’ Up! to create a little fall door scene. I love this new set…I’m starting to think that I might need a little intervention because I’m seriously addicted! 🙂
I’ve been seeing cards all over Pinterest like this one, one of the first ones that I saw was by Dawn Olchefske and you can see her card here.
I started by stamping the Hardwood image in Sahara Sand ink on a Sahara Sand card stock panel.
Then I stamped the Hardwood image a second time in Sahara Sand ink on a Sahara Sand panel. I cut the panel into 4 pieces, then sponged the edges of each piece with Sahara Sand ink and adhered the panels to the card front with SNAIL. I used my Paper-Piercing Tool to place one of the Antique Brads through the panel, then adhered the panel to a Sahara Sand card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I stamped the image from the Wondrous Wreath photopolymer stamp set in Crushed Curry ink on a Whisper White panel. Then I stamped the two additional wreath images in Cajun Craze and Blackberry Bliss inks and I cut the wreath out with the Wonderful Wreath Framelits Dies. I adhered the wreath to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals and added a bow tied from Blackberry Bliss 3/8″ Stitched Satin Ribbon using a Glue Dot to adhere it.
I stamped the sentiment from the For All Things stamp set in Blackberry Bliss ink on a Sahara Sand card stock panel. I adhered the sentiment to a panel of Blackberry Bliss card stock with SNAIL, then punched the end with the Hexagon Punch to create the banner. I adhered the panel to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I added a little strip of Color Me Autumn DSP to a strip of Sahara Sand card stock, then adhered the layered strip to a Whisper White panel on the inside of the card.

Stampin’ Up! items used to create this project:
Amy, I just love your fall card. I hope you don’t mind if I CAS it for my next class. I might change up the colors a little, but love the paneled door. Very nice.
Feel free to CAS away Pat. So glad that you liked it! 🙂
Amy, I loved the colors you chose, so rich and elegant. They play off the Sahara Sand beautifully. The pop of blackberry bliss is just divine 😉 I do love your twist to the door framing and your terrific doorknob too. I haven’t used this set yet, but I’m really excited with your ideas and can’t wait to try 🙂
Thanks Jill! Have fun with your new stamps, I can’t seem to stop using this one. 🙂
I received my shares today. Thanks for the extra bags and boxes! I can’t wait to get busy 🙂 Debra
