Choose Happiness Fall Card – Stampin’ Up!

I used the Choose Happiness stamp set and some of the Color Me Autumn DSP and Washi Tape from Stampin’ Up! to create my card to share today.

Choose Happiness - Stamp With Amy K

My card design was inspired by the Stamping and Blogging SB71 sketch.  Be sure to stop by the other Design Team Members blogs (see the links below) to check out their creations with this sketch!

My card was also inspired by The Paper Players #221 Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge.  I went right down the middle…Green, Embossing and Ribbon.

I started by stamping the images from the Choose Happiness stamp set in Old Olive ink on a panel of Color Me Autumn DSP.  Then I added strips of Color Me Autumn Designer Washi Tape.

Choose Happiness 1 - Stamp With Amy K

I inked up the bird image from the Choose Happiness stamp set in Cajun Craze ink, stamped it off once on scarp paper, then stamped it above the Washi Tape.  I stamped the sentiment from the Choose Happiness stamp set in VersaMark Ink, sprinkled it with Black Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed it.

I adhered the stamped panel to a panel of Mossy Meadow card stock with SNAIL, then wrapped a strand of Blackberry Bliss 3/8″ Stitched Satin Ribbon around the panel, adhering it with SNAIL.  I tied a bow and adhered it with a Glue Dot.

I added  a thin bead of Multipurpose Liquid Glue under the strand of ribbon and I adhered a strand of Gold Sequin Trim to the panel.  Then I adhered the stamped panel to a Blackberry Bliss card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Color Me Autumn Designer Washi Tape - Stamp With Amy K

I adhered strips of the Color Me Autumn Designer Washi Tape to a Whisper White panel inside the card.

  9. Gosh Amy, your card is wonderful! Beautiful dsp, and since I’ve got the share you offered, I can make this card! Yay 🙂 Your card had so many subtle details that add so much, the branches are perfect in the corners and the bird image on top of the washi tape is perfectly placed. I agree with Mike, that is an incredible bow 😉

  12. Oh Amy, your card is just beautiful. Love the Autumn colors in combination with the touch of gold. I really think making a bow and stick it with a glue dot is one of the greatest inventions for cardmakers! It is so much easier than tying a bow on the spot.
