Bright & Beautiful in White and Gold – Stampin’ Up!

I used the Bright and Beautiful stamp set and matching Star Framelits from Stampin’ Up! to create my card to share today.

Bright & Beautiful - Stamp With Amy K

My card design was inspired by Freshly Made Sketches #153.

And the colors were inspired by Fab Friday 50.

I started by adhering a panel of Whisper White card stock to a panel of Brushed Gold card stock, then to a Whisper White card base with SNAIL.

Bright & Beautiful 2 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the sentiment in VersaMark Ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock, sprinkled it with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed it.  I adhered the sentiment panel to a panel of Brushed Gold card stock, then to the card front with SNAIL.

Bright & Beautiful 3 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the three star images from the Bright & Beautiful stamp set in VersaMark Ink on Brushed Gold and Whisper White card stock panels.  I sprinkled them images with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed them, then cut them out with the matching Stars Framelits Dies.  I adhered the largest star with SNAIL to the card front, then adhered the two smaller stars with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Bright & Beautiful 1 - Stamp With Amy K

I pulled strands of Whisper White Baker’s Twine through two Gold Basic Metal Buttons, tied knots on the back and adhered them to the card front with Glue Dots.

Bright & Beautiful 4 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the sentiment from the Bright & Beautiful stamp set in VersaMark Ink on a Whisper White panel, sprinkled it with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed the image.  I punched a star from Brushed Gold card stock using the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack punch and I adhered it with SNAIL under the sentiment, then adhered the stamped panel to the inside of the card.

  1. Amy, this card is so beautiful and elegant with it’s gorgeous gold embossing and crisp white layers and the brushed gold. I love how the layered stars pop off the card. The little detail that just made me smile is the way you used the little gold buttons! 🙂 They are so perfect there and I wouldn’t have thought to add those, now I need to go and add them to my order!!

  2. Absolutely stunning Amy! I’m in love with all that gold and white space! Your embossed star is so elegant and stands out in the gallery, Thanks for joining us at Freshly Made Sketches this week!

  3. Love, love this card! I just recently got the stamp set and matching framelit dies. I have a quick question – What size is the card base? Is it 5 1/2 long by 4 1/4 wide?
