I used the World of Dreams stamp set from Stampin’ Up! to create my card to share with you today. I dusted off a few items from the 2014-15 Annual Catalog for this card, I feel that I’ve been neglecting them a bit lately! 🙂
The color for my card were inspired by Pals Paper Arts #222. Waving a big hello to the PPA crew that I met in Atlanta this weekend…I had a great time and I hope that you’ll let me come back next year to defend my “gloved” stamping title. 😉
And my card design was inspired by the Split Coast Stampers SC508 Sketch Challenge.
I started by stamping the image from the World of Dreams stamp set in Early Espresso ink on panels of Calypso Coral and So Saffron card stock. I adhered the stamped panels with Stampin’ Dimensionals to a panel of Early Espresso card stock, then to a panel of Calypso Coral card stock with SNAIL.
I set the stamped panel aside and started working on the layers. I started by stamping the sentiment from the A Dozen Thoughts stamp set in Early Espresso ink on a panel of So Saffron DSP that I’d cut from the Subtles DSP Stacks. I adhered the stamped DSP to a panel of Calypso Coral card stock with SNAIL, then wrapped a strand of Calypso Coral 1/2″ Seam Binding Ribbon around it, adhering the ribbon with SNAIL.
I adhered the layered DSP panel to an Early Espresso card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals, then adhere the stamped panel to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals as well.
I colored a single Rhinestone Basic Jewel with my Dark Calypso Coral Blendabilities Marker and I adhered it to the card front to complete it.
I stamped the image from the World of Dreams stamp set on a Whisper White panel inside the card.

Very pretty, Amy! I love what you did with the three panels and repeating the image. It makes such a statement. I say when you come again next year bring your gloves…they probably already have a little ink on them! It was so nice to meet you and thanks for joining us at the PPA this week!
Thanks Dawn! And those gloves are covered with ink…good idea to bring them back, just in case. 😉 Great to meet you this weekend too! 🙂
You blended these colors together beautifully! Such a pretty card! I am still smiling about our get together in Atlanta…..such a great time! So glad we got to chat…..and that you walk fast and got me back in time to win another prize! And who knew you were so talented with mittens on!
Thanks so much Linda! I’m happy to speed walk back with you any time. Enjoy your goodies, hope that your wreath made it home in your carryon. 🙂 And I can send the mittens to you so that you can practice up for next year. 😉
