I used the Fall Fest and Seasonally Scattered stamp sets from Stampin’ Up! to create my card to share today.  I’ve seen several cards with the pumpkins layered over the Seasonally Scattered image, but one of the first ones that I saw was created by Michelle Reynolds and you can see it here.

My card design was inspired by Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge 242.  I just turned the sketch on its side.  🙂

I started by adhering a panel of Color Me Autumn DSP to a Cajun Craze card stock panel, then to a Crushed Curry card base with SNAIL.  I adhered a strip of 1-1/4″ Burlap Ribbon to the card front with Fast Fuse Adhesive, then went to work on the background stamped image.

I used the Baby Wipe Technique (you can see my photo tutorial for this technique on my Tutorials page here) to create the image.  In my tutorial, I placed the ink drops in a line.  For this image, I just randomly dropped ink refill drops all over the baby wipe to get a more blended effect.  I used Old Olive, Crushed Curry and Cajun Craze ink refills for this card.

Once I had the baby wipe all inky, I used it as my ink pad with the thanks image from the Seasonally Scattered stamp set and I stamped the image on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  I adhered the stamped panel to a panel of Cajun Craze card stock with SNAIL, then to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Then I inked up the two pumpkin images from the Fall Fest photopolymer stamp set in Cajun Craze, Crushed Curry and Old Olive inks.  To get the two-tone pumpkin, I first inked up the image in Crushed Curry ink, then used a Sponge Dauber loaded up with Cajun Craze ink and I dabbed it around the edges.  I cut the images out with the matching Fun Fall Framelits Dies and adhered the two-tone pumpkin to the card front with SNAIL and the Cajun Craze pumpkin with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I used the Sponge Dauber technique to ink up the sentiment from the Label Something stamp set, stamped it on a Whisper White panel, punched it out with the 7/8″ Scallop Circle Punch and adhered it with a Stampin’ Dimensional to the card front.

Then I punched leaves with the Bird Builder Punch from Old Olive card stock and adhered them to the pumpkins with a touch of Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I added three Rhinestone Basic Jewels and two bows tied from Linen Thread (adhered with a dot of Multipurpose Liquid Glue) to finish the card front.

I adhered a strip of Color Me Autumn DSP to a strip of Crushed Curry card stock, then to a Whisper White panel to complete the inside of the card.

Since I already had the baby wipe all inked up, I stamped a few more images with it.  I changed up the card stock a bit on this card, I used Naturals White in place of Whisper White and Old Olive in place of the Crushed Curry card base.  I can’t decide which version I like better.  🙂
