Stampin’ Up! Wondrous Wreath for a Birthday

Happy Thanksgiving!  I hope that you’re all enjoying a lovely meal with friends and family today.  I’ve got the Prime Rib cooking, the pies are done and the sides all ready to go in the oven.  Yummy!!

Sandi MacIver and I are teaming up to bring you some birthday cards made with the Wondrous Wreath stamp set from Stampin’ Up!  I made a very clean and simple card to share today.  Plus I’ve got a few projects from my team members to share too!

Wondrous Wreath - Stamp With Amy K

My card design was inspired CAS(E) this Sketch #101.  I’ve been seeing lots of cards made with this wreath set for all of the seasons.  I think the first “spring” card that I saw was made by Tina Rappe, you can see it here.  Thanks for the inspiration!

I started by embossing a panel of Whisper White card stock with the Filigree Frame Embossing Folder.  I colored the sentiment from the Hey You stamp set with my Crisp Cantaloupe and Strawberry Slush Stampin’ Write Markers and stamped it on the panel, then adhered the embossed panel to a Strawberry Slush card base with SNAIL.

Wondrous Wreath 1 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the full wreath image from the Wondrous Wreath photopolymer stamp set in Pistachio Pudding ink on a Whisper White panel.  Then I stamped the smaller leaf image in Wild Wasabi ink over the top.  I cut the image out with the Wonderful Wreath Framelits dies and adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Wondrous Wreath 3 - Stamp With Amy KI punched the flowers from Crisp Cantaloupe and Strawberry Slush inks with the flower punch from the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack and adhered them with Glue Dots to the wreath.  I colored Pearl Basic Jewels with my Medium Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blendabilities marker and adhered them to the center of the flowers.  Then I tied a bow with Strawberry Slush and Crisp Cantaloupe Thick Baker’s Twine and I adhered it with a Glue Dot to finish the card front.

Wondrous Wreath 4 - Stamp With Amy K

I inked up the small wreath image from the Wondrous Wreath stamp set with Pistachio Pudding ink and stamped it across the bottom, then stamped the flower images in Strawberry Slush and Crisp Cantaloupe inks on a Whisper White panel inside the card.

Be sure that you stop by Sandi’s blog to check out her fabulous creation with the Wondrous Wreath stamp set!

I thought that I’d share a few beautiful creations from two of my fantastic team members:

Truly Grateful - Stamp With Amy K

This card was made by Maggie Carter, one of my team members from Florida.  Maggie told me that her card was inspired by one that she’d seen on Jill Hilliard’s blog here.  She used one of my very favorite stamp sets called Truly Grateful.  I love the colors and the Naturals White card stock.

Flower Patch - Stamp With Amy K

And this cute little treat bag was made by Heather Van Looy, one of my team members from Johns Creek, GA.  She posted instructions for making this treat bag on blog and you can see her post here.  I love the bright, spring colors of this bag and the beautiful ribbon that she tied it with.

I hope that you all have a fantastic Thanksgiving!
