Okay on to my card for the day, with all of the other details I’ve already posted, I’ll try to make it quick!  I used the Stars Framelits Dies and the Wonderful Wreath Framelits sentiment to create my card to share today.

Wonderful Wreath Framelits - Stamp With Amy K

My card design was inspired by The Paper Players #224 Tic-Tac-Toe challenge (I used star, embossing and white).

Screen Shot 2014-12-01 at 10.30.34 PMAnd by the Pals Paper Arts 229 sketch, but I flipped the sketch upside down.

Screen Shot 2014-12-01 at 10.32.36 PMI started by cutting stars from Garden Green and Real Red card stock with the Stars Framelits Dies.  I put smaller Stars Framelits dies in the center of each star and cut the centers out as well (all except the smallest star, that was punched with the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack star).  I switched around the centers of each star, then adhered the stars to a Whisper White panel with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I trimmed the excess die cuts from the edges with my Paper Snips then embossed the entire panel with the Lucky Stars Embossing Folder.  I adhered the embossed panel to a Garden Green panel with SNAIL and to a Real Red card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Wonderful Wreath Framelits 1 - Stamp With Amy K

I cut a banner with a Banners Framelits Die from Whisper White and Garden Green card stocks, trimmed the Whisper White banner just a bit from the top, bottom and left side and I adhered them together, then to the card front with SNAIL.  I cut the sentiment from Red Glimmer Paper with the Wonderful Wreath Framelits Die and I adhered it with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Be The Star - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the star images from the Be the Star stamp set in Real Red ink along the bottom of a Whisper White panel inside the card.

You can find a complete list of supplies, including card stock cuts, at the very bottom of this post.

  1. I like your star layers and love the JOY added on the banners! Thanks for joining the Pals sketch challenge this week!

  2. Your card is so bright and full of Christmas spirit Amy! Like the way you nested the stars, that is a great tip to save paper and give a great inlay look 🙂 I might try this with blues and glimmer paper, what do you think? Also liked the stars embossing folder detail, such a subtle but really effective layer….altogether a “Star” card, hee hee 😉
