Stampin’ Up! Envelope Punch Board Snowman Tags & Year-End Closeout Deals

I used the Envelope Punch Board and the Festival of Trees stamp set from Stampin’ Up! to create Mr. and Ms. Snowman tags.

Festival of Trees - Stamp With Amy K

My tags were inspired by The Card Concept #24.

I started by punching two 2″ x 5-3/4″ strips of Whisper White card stock with the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch.

I lined up the flat end of the tag with the 3-1/2″ line on the Envelope Punch Board and I punched the side of the card stock.

I flipped the tag over and lined the flat end up again at 3-1/2″ and punched the other side of the card stock.

I slid the tag down the Envelope Punch Board so that the flat end lined up at the 1-7/8″ line and I punched the side of the card stock.

Envelope Punch Board 3 - Stamp With Amy K

I flipped the tag over again, lined the end up with the 1-7/8″ line and punched the side of the card stock.  Then I punched the two square ends with the rounder punch at the top of the Envelope Punch Board.

Festival of Trees 2 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the sentiments from the Festival of Trees photopolymer stamp set in Cherry Cobbler ink on the bottom of both snowmen, then colored Rhinestone Basic Jewels with my black Sharpie marker and adhered them for the eyes, mouth and buttons.  I tied a stand of Cherry Cobber 1″ Sheer Linen Ribbon around the neck of each snowman, I added a little touch of Multipurpose Liquid Glue under the knot in the scarves to keep them in place.  I added little triangles cut from Pumpkin Pie card stock for the noses.

To create the hats, I punched a 2″ strip of Trim the Tree DSP with the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch.  I lined up the top of the scallop with the 1-1/4″ line on my trimmer and I trimmed off the hat.  I scored the DSP hat at about 1/8″ from the flat end, added a little SNAIL and folded the brim of the hat up.  I adhered the hats to the snowmen with SNAIL, the pulled a strand of Cherry Cobbler Sheer Linen Ribbon through the punch at the top and tied it with a strand of Cherry Cobbler Baker’s Twine.  I used my Paper Snips to cut a little fringe on the scarves and hats.

For the “Ms. Snowman”, I punched a flower with the Itty Bitty Accents Punch from Crisp Cantaloupe card stock and I adhered it with a Glue Dot.  I added a Sahara Sand Candy Dot from the Neutrals Candy Dots Pack to finish the flower.
