I used one of the awesome new Butterflies Thinlits Dies and the Blended Bloom stamp from Stampin’ Up! to create my card to share today.
My card design was inspired by Hand Stamped Sentiments #201. I took a few liberties with the shapes. 🙂
I started by embossing a panel of Wild Wasabi card stock with the Lovely Lace Embossing Folder. I adhered the embossed panel to a panel of Blackberry Bliss card stock with SNAIL.
I adhered a panel from the Painted Blooms Designer Series Paper (available Jan 6) to a panel of Blackberry Bliss card stock, then to the embossed panel with SNAIL.
I stamped the image from the Blended Bloom stamp set in Tuxedo Black ink on a Whisper White panel and I colored it with my Soft Sky, Bermuda Bay (both available Jan 6) and Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blendabilities Markers. I cut the image out with my Paper Snips and adhered it to the card front with SNAIL, then trimmed the excess.
I wrapped a strand of Linen Thread around the panel and tied a little bow, then adhered the panel to a Rose Red card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I cut a butterfly from Rose Red card stock with the Butterflies Thinlits Die (available Jan 6), adhered it to the panel with Stampin’ Dimensionals, then added five Pearl Basic Jewels down the center to finish the card front.
I adhered a strip of Painted Blooms DSP to a strip of Rose Red card stock, then to a Whisper White panel inside the card.
