Stampin’ Up! Mother’s Love For You

I used the Mother’s Love stamp set from Stampin’ Up! to create my card to share today.

Mother's Love - Stamp With Amy K

I started by embossing a Whisper White card stock panel with the Spring Flowers Embossing Folder.  I adhered the panel to a panel of Basic Black card stock, then to a Strawberry Slush card base with SNAIL.

Mother's Love 2 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the flower image and the sentiment from the Mother’s Love stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on a Whisper White panel.  Then I inked up the petals and leaves image in Strawberry Slush and Pistachio Pudding inks and I stamped it over the black line image.

Mother's Love 3 - Stamp With Amy K

I adhered the stamped panel to a panel of Basic Black card stock with SNAIL, then wrapped a strand of Strawberry Slush Thick Baker’s Twine around the panel and tied a bow.  I adhered the stamped panel to a panel of Basic Black card stock with SNAIL, then to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Mother's Love 1 - Stamp With Amy K

I added a Rhinestone Basic Jewel next to the sentiment to finish the card front.

Mother's Love 4 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the smaller line flower image from the Mother’s Love stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on a Whisper White panel, then stamped the flower image in Strawberry Slush ink over the line images on the inside of the card.

  1. Your embossed panel done on the white gives a nice subtle touch and coordinates so well with this stamped image, Amy! Love the colors and design! Well done~

  2. I really liked that you showed me that the Mother’s Love set can be used not just for Mom’s. I know that sounds silly (hey, I’ve got kid smoosh brain), but sometimes you pass it by thinking, “ok Mother’s day set” and don’t open your eyes to something else 🙂 You created a beautiful card with your layers, ALWAYS love your layers! And the Spring Flowers texture folder really works wonderfully with this stamp set. As others before me said, beautiful card Amy!! 🙂

    • Thanks so much Jill! I love the lined look and the great font in this stamp set…it’s an added bonus that there is a sentiment that can be used for something other than Mother’s Day! 🙂
