I used the Stampin’ Up! Sale-A-Bration stamp set called You Brighten My Day and the Something to Say stamp set from the Annual Catalog to create my card to share today. I am always in need of anniversary cards and I thought this sketch was fitting for a few hearts and an anniversary theme. 🙂
My card design was inspired by Pals Paper Arts 240.
I started by adhering a panel from the Stacked With Love DSP Stack to a panel of Whisper White card stock with SNAIL, then to a Calypso Coral card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I stamped the sentiment from the Something to Say stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on a panel of Real Red card stock. Then I embossed the panel with the Happy Heart Embossing Folder and I adhered it to a panel of Basic Black card stock and to the card front with SNAIL.
I punched a heart from Red Glimmer Paper with the Sweetheart Punch and I adhered it with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front. I cut a heart from a panel of the Stacked With Love DSP Stack with the heart from the Circle Card Thinlits Dies set and I adhered it with Glue Dots to the glimmer paper heart.
I stamped the love image from the You Brighten My Day stamp set (Sale-A-Bration item) in Calypso Coral ink on a Whisper White panel, punched it out with the matching heart punch from the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack and I sponged the edges with Real Red ink. I adhered the heart punch to a heart punch from Calypso Coral and Real Red card stocks, then to the card front with Glue Dots.
I stamped the sentiments from the Teeny Tiny Wishes and Something to Say stamp sets in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink, then added a row of heart images from the You Brighten My Day stamp set in Calypso Coral ink on a Whisper White panel inside the card.

Great idea for an anniversary card Amy. Love the Happy Heart panel with the sentiment at the bottom. I am always looking for anniversary cards too 😉 I also like the way you layered different hearts together to reinforce the “love” message 🙂
Thanks Jill! I finally broke down and got the Memorable Moments stamp set in my last order…I kept telling myself that I didn’t need it, but I love the option for a “pretty” happy anniversary sentiment. Looking forward to making lots of cards with it! 🙂
Lol, I know what you mean, I did the same exact thing! I did get mine late last year though. It’s a set that you know you’ll use, elegant and definitely pretty. I’m glad I’ve got it in my stamp stash too 😉 Can’t wait to see what you come up with!
Amy, I never thought of putting coral and red together, but I LIKE IT! I’m always in need of anniversary cards, too, and this one is a keeper. Thanks for sharing your talent with us.
Thanks Pat! Glad that you liked my card…Stampin’ Up! helped me pick the colors with the Stacked With Love DSP! 🙂
