Stampin’ Up! Your Perfect Day Congrats Card

I used the Stampin’ Up! stamp set called Your Perfect Day to create my card for the Stamping and Blogging Sketch Challenge this week.  Be sure to stop by the other Design Team Member’s blogs to check out their creations too!

Your Perfect Day - Stamp With Amy K

Here the Stamping and Blogging SB97 sketch.  I turned the sketch on its side.  🙂

Screen Shot 2015-03-24 at 4.10.17 PMI started by adhering a panel of the Something Borrowed DSP to a panel of Whisper White card stock with SNAIL, then to a Blushing Bride card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Your Perfect Day 2 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the sentiment from the Your Perfect Day stamp set in VersaMark Ink on a Sahara Sand card stock panel, sprinkled it with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed it.

Your Perfect Day 1 - Stamp With Amy K

I adhered the stamped panel to a Whisper White panel with SNAIL, then to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Your Perfect Day 3 - Stamp With Amy K

I trimmed the netting of the top half of a strip of Blushing Bride Rosette Trim and I adhered it to the card front with Glue Dots.  Then I added a Pearl Basic Jewel to the center of each flower.

Your Perfect Day 4 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the circular and flower images from the Your Perfect Day stamp set in Sahara Sand and Blushing Bride inks on a Whisper White panel, then adhered it to a Sahara Sand card stock panel inside the card.

Now that you’ve seen my project, be sure to stop by the other Stamping & Blogging Design Team Member’s blogs to see what they’ve created with this sketch.

  1. How cool to turn the sketch and create this beauty. Beautiful use of not only the designer paper but some of the elements from the Artisan Embellishment Kit – love that kit, and love this card.

  2. Sahara Sand is so perfect for a wedding card….love that dp along with the blushing bride pink, Amy! This card looks like a cas style, yet it’s so elegant with the classy dp and hearts in the sentiment! Your border of roses adds to the flair too~

  3. Absolutely stunning!  I couldn’t find a place to leave a comment on your blog…maybe not enough caffeine today:)  I love the card!

  4. I actually blurted out loud when I saw this card. I’m said oooh, that is VERY pretty! In court we call that an excited utterance. 🙂

  5. I love your card, it’s simple and as many have said, so elegant 😉 I LOVE this pattern in the DSP and I’m grateful that we can get the background stamp Something Lacy to be able to replicate this when the dsp runs out, yay!!

    • Thanks Jill! I need to ink up that background stamp more often…but I love the Sahara Sand and White combo that I’m having a hard time using it with any other colors. 🙂
