Stampin’ Up! Hi There With Painted Blooms

I used the Stampin’ Up! stamp set called Hi There along with some of the Painted Blooms DSP to create my cards to share today.  The full sheet of flowers makes a beautiful background for your cards!

Hi There - Stamp With Amy K

My card designs were inspired by Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge 261.

Screen Shot 2015-03-26 at 2.59.09 PMI started by taking a deep breath and chopping into that beautiful full sheet of flowers from the Painted Blooms DSP pack.  It’s one of those papers that is almost too pretty to cut up…but it’s also too pretty not to share.  🙂

Hi There 1 - Stamp With Amy K

For this card, I adhered the Painted Blooms panel to a panel of Rose Red card stock with SNAIL, then to a Blackberry Bliss card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I stamped the sentiment from the Hi There stamp set in Blackberry Bliss ink on a panel of White Vellum and I dried it with the low setting on my Heat Tool.  I adhered the vellum panel to the card front with a rolled up Glue Dot under the “h” and a Glue Dot under the Vintage Faceted Designer Button.

Hi There 2 - Stamp With Amy K

For this card, I adhered the Painted Blooms DSP panel to a panel of Blackberry Bliss card stock with SNAIL, then to a Rose Red card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I adhered a circle that I’d cut with a Starburst Framelits Die and a Circles Collection Framelits Die with a touch of Multipurpose Liquid Glue, then adhered a strip of Blackberry Bliss card stock over it with SNAIL.  I stamped the sentiment from the Hi There stamp set in VersaMark Ink on a White Vellum strip and heat embossed it with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder.  I adhered the vellum to the Blackberry Bliss panel with Glue Dots.

Hi There 3 - Stamp With Amy K

I adhered a Vintage Faceted Designer Button with a Glue Dot to the card on the left, then tied a bow from the In Color Accessory Pack (Sale-A-Bration) twine and adhered it with a rolled up Glue Dot to the button.  For the card on the right, I cut about a 2-1/2″ length of the Rose Red Lace from the Artisan Embellishment Kit and adhered it to itself and to the card front with Glue Dots, then added the White Resin Flower from the Artisan Embellishment Kit with a Glue Dot over the top.

Painted Blooms DSP - Stamp With Amy K

I added strips of the leftover Painted Blooms DSP page (it’s to pretty to waste any of it!!) over coordinating card stock strips to complete the inside of the card.

You can find a complete list of supplies, including card stock cuts, at the very bottom of this post.

  1. SO Very Pretty, Amy, both of them! I can understand why you didn’t want to cut into that lovely paper! I’ve been there too. I also hoard certain dp’s because they’re just too nice to use! Now isn’t that sad….I’m sure your cards came together in a snap, and it’s all because you chose to let this gorgeous dp shine~

  2. Your cards today are really gorgeous Amy! They caught my breath with their simple beauty! It’s really hard to pick a favorite, I do LOVE how you spotlighted the dsp with the two circle/burst elements. The banners with the simple script “hello” are a perfect touch. Amy you really outdid yourself today, they are way Wow!! 😉
