I used the Stampin’ Up! stamp set called Mother’s Love to create my card to share today.

My card design was inspired by Retrosketches #158.

My card design and colors were also inspired by The Paper Players #238.  For the tic-tac-toe challenge, I went across the top:  yellow, ribbon, embossing

I started by embossing a panel of Pear Pizzazz card stock with the Large Polka Dot Embossing Folder.  I adhered the embossed panel to a panel of Basic Black card stock, then to a Whisper White card base with SNAIL.

I stamped the little flower image from the Mother’s Love stamp set several times in Crushed Curry ink on a panel of Crushed Curry card stock, then adhered the card stock panel to the card front with SNAIL.

I stamped the flower outline and sentiment from the Mother’s Love stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on a Whisper White panel.  Then I inked up the flower petal images (after putting Post-It Notes over the leaves) in Crushed Curry ink and I stamped them over the flower outline.  I covered the flower petal images and inked up the leaves in Pear Pizzazz ink and stamped them over the flower outline as well.

I cut the two ends of a strand of Crushed Curry 1/8″ Taffeta Ribbon at a long angle and I was able to pull the ribbon through a Vintage Faceted Designer Button and tie a bow.  I adhered the button to the card front with a Glue Dot, then added three Rhinestone Basic Jewels and two Crushed Curry Candy Dots (from the Regals Candy Dots pack) to finish the card front.

I stamped the sentiment and flower outline from the Mother’s Love stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a Whisper White panel, then stamped the flower image in Crushed Curry ink.  I adhered the stamped panel to a panel of Crushed Curry card stock, then to the inside of the card with SNAIL.
