I used the Stampin’ Up! stamp sets Hello Life and Papillon Potpourri stamp sets to create my card for the Stamping and Blogging sketch challenge this week.  Be sure to stop by the other Design Team Member’s Blogs to see what they’ve created with this sketch!

Here is this weeks Stamping and Blogging SB99 sketch:

The theme for my card was inspired by Just Us Girls #287.

I started by stamping the sentiment from the Hello Life photopolymer stamp set in VersaMark Ink on a panel of Chalkboard Paper.  I sprinkled the sentiment with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed it.

I stamped the butterfly image from the Papillon Potpourri stamp set in Aquamarine, Rose Coral and Yellow Citrus ColorBox Chalk Inks across the panel and I dried them with my Heat Tool to quickly set them.

I cut the panel into three parts, then sponged the edges with Whisper White Craft Stampin’ Ink.  I adhered the panels to a panel of Whisper White card stock with Fast Fuse Adhesive, then adhered the layered panel to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I pulled a strand of Linen Thread through the heart button from the Sweet Dreams Designer Buttons pack, tied it around a looped strand of Coastal Cabana Thick Baker’s Twine to create a faux bow and adhered the button to the card front with a Glue Dot.  I added three Rhinestone Basic Jewels to finish the card front.

I stamped the butterfly image from the Papillon Potpourri stamp set across a Whisper White panel with Aquamarine, Rose Coral and Yellow Citrus ColorBox Chalk Inks on the inside of the card.
