Stampin’ Up! Flower Patch Bloom Card

I used the Stampin’ Up! Flower Patch and For Peeps’ Sake stamp sets to create my card to share today.

Flower Patch - Stamp With Amy K

My card design was inspired by Mojo Monday 393.

I started by adhering a panel from the Painted Blooms DSP pack to a panel of Pacific Point card stock with SNAIL, then to a Wild Wasabi card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

For Peeps' Sake - Stamp With Amy K

I adhered two smaller panels from the Painted Blooms DSP pack to panels of Pacific Point and Wild Wasabi card stocks, then to the card front with SNAIL.  I cut  panel of Pacific Point card stock at an angle and adhered it to the card front with SNAIL as well.

For Peeps's Sake 2 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the image from the Flower Patch photopolymer stamp set in Soft Sky ink and stamped it on a Whisper White panel.  I colored the sentiment from the For Peeps’ Sake stamp set with my Wild Wasabi and Pacific Point Stampin’ Write Markers and I stamped it over the flower image, then cut the flower out with the matching Flower Fair Framelits Die.

For Peeps' Sake 1 - Stamp With Amy K

I adhered the die cut flower to a 2-1/2″ Circle Punch from Pacific Point ink with Stampin’ Dimensionals, then to a Circles Collection Framelits die cut from Wild Wasabi card stock with SNAIL.  I adhered the layered flower image to the card front with SNAIL, then added two Soft Sky Candy Dots from the Subtles Candy Dots pack to complete the card front.

Flower Patch 1 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the image from the Flower Patch stamp set in Soft Sky ink across the bottom of a Whisper White panel inside the card.

  1. Another beautiful card! Love the colors on this card too. How do you decide what colors look good together. I have the color coach, but still can’t seem to put them together. lol

    • Thanks so much Lana! I use the Color Coach and the colors in the Designer Series Paper packs to help me pick the colors that work together. I’m a little color challenged myself, but those two tools make color coordination much easier for me. 🙂

  2. What a beauty! The colors are fabulous – you have the ability to mix colors that I would never imagine would work together.

  3. You always have the best layers Amy! I love how you take the time to add that little pop of color behind 🙂 It’s the little details that you put into your cards that make them so awesome for me! 😀 I’m working on adding to the inside of my cards like yours. What a treat to have a finished inside too 😉
