I used the Stampin’ Up! stamp sets called Blended Bloom and Butterfly Basics to create my card to share today.  Apparently I’ve been in a blue flower mood lately, I think that this is my 3rd card with blue flowers this week!

My card design was inspired by Fab Friday 62.

For some reason, my camera makes the Island Indigo on this card look more like Pacific Point, but I did use Island Indigo inks and papers.  I started by adhering a panel of Island Indigo DSP from the Regals DSP Stacks to a panel of Whisper White card stock with SNAIL, then to an Island Indigo card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the image from the Blended Bloom stamp in Island Indigo ink on a panel of Island Indigo card stock.  Then I stamped the sentiment from the Butterfly Basics stamp set in VersaMark Ink, sprinkled it with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed it.

I adhered the stamped panel to a panel of Whisper White card stock with SNAIL, then to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I cut a little banner from the All A Bloom DSP Stack with my Paper Snips and I tucked it under the focal image, adhering it with SNAIL.

I made a little loop with Whisper White 1/2″ Seam Binding Ribbon and I added just a touch of SNAIL to hold it together.  I pulled a strand of Linen Thread through an Island Indigo button from the Regals Designer Buttons Pack, wrapped it around the Whisper White ribbon, then pulled it back through the other side of the button and I tied a little bow.  I adhered the ribbon/button to the card front with a Glue Dot.

I stamped the Blended Bloom image in Island Indigo ink on a Whisper White panel inside the card.
