Stampin’ Up! Sprinkles of Life Pink Cupcake Card

I used the Stampin’ Up! stamp set called Sprinkles of Life to create my card to share today.

Sprinkles of Life - Stamp With Amy K

My card design was inspired by Can You Case It #72.

Screen Shot 2015-06-03 at 1.44.26 PMThe theme for my card was inspired by The Card Concept #36.  This card is clean and layered.

I started by stamping the sentiment from the Sprinkles of Life photopolymer stamp set in Watermelon Wonder ink on a panel of Pink Pirouette card stock.

Sprinkles of Life 2 - Stamp With Amy K

I embossed the panel with the Large Polka Dot Embossing Folder, then adhered it to a panel of Watermelon Wonder card stock with SNAIL and to a Whisper White card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Sprinkles of Life 3 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the cupcake base from the Sprinkles of Life stamp set in Delightful Dijon ink on a panel of Delightful Dijon card stock, cut it out with my Paper Snips, then adhered it with SNAIL to a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the frosting image from the Sprinkles of Life stamp set in Pink Pirouette ink and the sprinkles image in Watermelon Wonder ink on a panel of Pink Pirouette card stock, punched the image out with the matching Tree Builder Punch, then adhered it to the Whisper White panel with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Sprinkles of Life 1 - Stamp With Amy K

I adhered the Whisper White cupcake panel to a panel of Watermelon Wonder card stock, then to the card front with SNAIL.  I punched the ends of two little pieces of 2015-17 In Color Envelope Paper with the Banner Punch, slid them under the cupcake panel and adhered them with SNAIL.  I added six Rhinestone Basic Jewels to finish the card front.

Sprinkles of Life 4 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the cupcake images from the Sprinkles of Life stamp set in Pink Pirouette, Watermelon Wonder and Delightful Dijon inks on a Whisper White panel, then adhered the panel to a Pink Pirouette panel inside the card.

  1. Good Morning,

Did you put the sentiment on front on after you did the Polka Dot Embossing folder or before?

I’ve been having problems deciding when to do the embossing folders, before or after.

    Thank you,

    Heather Miller

  2. I know this is a little late but just wanted you to know how much I loved your cupcake card. Thank you for all the instructions you give. I have done several of your cards and always get compliments on the colors and details. Thanks again. Roberta

  3. What a sweet cupcake card Amy! Love the little details everywhere: embossed background, rhinestones, stripes on the banners… simple at first sight, but carefully designed 🙂

  4. My apologies for being soooooo late with my commenting! I absolutely ADORE your card! Your attention to detail is fabulous….the polka dot background, the perfectly placed bits of bling, the cool banners (love how you varied the lengths)….all add up to one amazing, fun and perfectly balanced design! Thanks for sharing with us at CCC 🙂
