I used the new Brick Wall Embossing Folder, the Birthday Blossoms stamp set, the Endless Thanks stamp set and the Awesomely Artistic stamp set from Stampin’ Up! to create my card to share today.
The design for my card was inspired by Pals Paper Arts #256.
I started by stamping the flower image from the Birthday Blossoms stamp set in Calypso Coral ink around the edges of a panel of Very Vanilla card stock. Then I used a Post-It Note to cover the flower images and I stamped the leaf image from the Awesomely Artistic stamp set in Old Olive ink around the flowers.
I embossed the panel with the Brick Wall Embossing Folder, then inked up my Brayer with Soft Suede ink. I rolled the Brayer across scrap paper a few times until the ink lightened a bit, then I gently rolled it across the embossed areas. After I’d added the Soft Suede ink, I adhered the stamped panel to a panel of Calypso Coral card stock with SNAIL.
I punched three strips from the Pretty Petals DSP Stack with the Banner Triple Punch, sponged the edges with Soft Suede ink then adhered them to the card front with SNAIL. I looped a strand of Calypso Coral Thick Baker’s Twine around the card front three times and tied a little bow, then adhered the layered panel to a Soft Suede card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I stamped the banner image from the Endless Thanks photopolymer stamp set in Soft Suede ink on a panel of Very Vanilla card stock, then I added the sentiment in Calypso Coral ink. I snipped the banner out and adhered it to the card front with SNAIL, then added a Rhinestone Basic Jewel to the banner to finish the card front.
I stamped the flower image from the Birthday Blossoms stamp set in Calypso Coral ink and the leaf image from the Awesomely Artistic stamp set in Old Olive ink on a Very Vanilla panel inside the card.
