This is my second post for the day, if you’re looking for my card for The Paper Players #250, click here to go right over to it!
I used the Timeless Love stamp set and a my White Gel Pen to create my card for the Sunday Stamps SSC104 sketch challenge today.
Here is the Sunday Stamps SSC104 sketch. Be sure to stop by the Sunday Stamps blog to check out what the other Design Team Members have created with this sketch. This sketch will be running for three weeks so you’ve got lots of time to play along too!
The colors for my card were inspired by ColourQ #295.
The theme for my card was inspired by TGIF Challenges TGIFC#08.
I started by stamping the small flower image from the Timeless Love stamp set in Blushing Bride ink on a panel of Blushing Bride card stock. I adhered the stamped panel to a panel of Night of Navy card stock with SNAIL.
I wrapped a strand of Night of Navy 1/2″ Seam Binding Ribbon around the panel, adhered it with SNAIL, then adhered the layered panel to a Whisper White Thick card stock base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I stamped the larger flower image from the Timeless Love stamp set in VersaMark Ink on a panel of Blushing Bride card stock, sprinkled it with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed it. I stamped the sentiment from that stamp set in Night of Navy ink near the flowers. I used my uni-ball Signo Gel Pen to color the flower petals. I let those images dry completely, then used my Night of Navy Stampin’ Write Marker to color the flower centers.
I adhered the stamped sentiment panel to a panel of Night of Navy card stock with SNAIL. I adhered a panel from the Gold Foil Sheets at an angle to the card front with SNAIL, then I adhered the layered sentiment panel to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I tied a small double loop bow from Night of Navy Seam Binding Ribbon and adhered it to the card front with a Glue Dot to finish it.
I stamped the smaller flower image from the Timeless Love stamp set in Blushing Bride ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock, then adhered the panel to a panel of Blushing Bride card stock and finally to the inside of the card.

I Love this card, Amy! You normally don’t make cards opening this way. I can’t believe you colored the flowers with the gel pen….that must have taken some time to do! The gold is perfect for the occasion and really packs a punch! I like the repeated small flower stamped on the pink and that double bow on the side. I was in Virginia Beach for 8 days visiting my son and grandsons, and guess what? It was too hot to be at the beach! Thankful for air conditioning!!!
So glad that you liked my card Roberta. It actually didn’t take that long to color the images with my gel pen, the pen that I have is really inky and colors things quite nicely. 🙂 Bummer on it being too hot to go to the beach, I’ve been very thankful for the A/C here lately too!
Hi Any, I was wondering if you had placed your retired items and items you no longer wanted on sale or did I miss it. I am looking for the I Dig you stamp set. Thanks, Roberta
