Stampin’ Up! Wonderland For Sketch & Stamp

I used a new stamp set from the upcoming Stampin’ Up! 2015 Holiday Catalog to create my card for Stamping And Blogging’s Sketch And Stamp SB116.  The stamp set that I used for my card is called Wonderland.

Wonderland - Stamp With Amy K

Here is Stamping & Blogging’s Sketch & Stamp SB115 sketch for the week.  Be sure to stop by the Sketch & Stamp Blog to play along!

I started by adhering a panel of the Winter Wonderland Specialty DSP (available Sept 1) to a panel of Basic Black card stock with SNAIL, then to an Old Olive card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Wonderland 2 - Stamp With Amy K

I cut two strips from the Winter Wonderland DSP, punched the ends with the Banner Punch, then adhered them with SNAIL to the card front.  I adhered a panel of Old Olive card stock and an angle across the front of the card, using SNAIL to adhere it.

Wonderland 3 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the tree image from the Wonderland stamp set (available Sept 1) in Old Olive ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock twice without reinking.  Then I repeated that process a second time.  I stamped sentiment from the For All Things stamp set in the new Stampin’ Up! Basic Black Archival Ink (available Sept 1, it’s a felt pad and it stamps beautifully!!) over the lower part of the panel, then adhered the stamped panel to a panel of Basic Black card stock with SNAIL.

Wonderland 1 - Stamp With Amy K

I adhered the layered panel to the card front with SNAIL, then pulled a strand of Linen Thread through a Gold Basic Metal Button, tied a small knot and adhered it to the card front with a Glue Dot.

Wonderland 4 - Stamp With Amy K

I inked the branch image from the Wonderland stamp set in Old Olive ink, stamped it on scrap paper twice, then stamped it on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  I adhered the stamped panel to a panel of Basic Black card stock, then to the inside of the card.

You can find a complete list of supplies, including card stock cuts, at the very bottom of this post.

  1. Wonderful card, Amy! Love the colors you used. And I love that you matted the inside liner and used the bough stamp. Very simple, elegant and beautiful. Awesome all around! 🙂

  2. I was so impressed I had to write and tell you Great job. I have an old stamp set that has trees similar to these, of course old I mean wood. But I tried to think how I would do something like this. And you showed me how. I’m going to make something similar to this card. I’ll use some red in the background paper and make snow on the trees. I don’t have any of the new fun things yet but I’m trying. I’m waiting for the new weekly specials to come out. But Thank You so much for just a lovely card.
