I used the new Stampin’ Up! stamp set called Holly Jolly Greetings and the Christmas Greetings and Delicate Ornaments Thinlits Dies to create my card to share today.  I also used a bit of the new Red Foil Sheets…they are are fantastic!!

My card design was inspired by Freshly Made Sketches #199.

This card made by Loll Thompson was the inspiration for the colors and the foil papers that I used on my card.

I started by adhering a thin strip of the Red Foil Sheets (available Sept 1) to a panel of Whisper White card stock with SNAIL.  Then I adhered the panel to a Thick Whisper White card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Then I stamped the sentiment from the Holly Jolly Greetings stamp set (available Sept 1) in VersaMark ink on a strip of Whisper White card stock.  I sprinkled the image with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder and Heat Embossed it, then punched the end with the Banner Punch and adhered it to the card front with SNAIL.

I cut both ornaments with the Delicate Ornament Thinlits Dies (available Sept 1).  The solid ornament was cut from from Gold Foil Sheets and the more intricate ornament from Red Foil Sheets and I adhered them together with the Fine-Tip Glue Pen (available Sept 1), then to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I cut the “merry” sentiment from Gold Foil Sheets with the Christmas Greetings Thinlits die (available Sept 1) and I adhered it with small pieces of Stampin’ Dimensionals under the left side and the Fine-Tip Glue Pen on the right.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment from the Versatile Christmas stamp set (available Sept 1) in VersaMark Ink and heat embossed it.  I stamped the ornament images from the Holly Jolly Greetings stamp set in Sahara Sand ink, then adhered little ornaments that I’d cut from Red Foil Sheets with the Perfect Pines Framelits Dies (available Sept 1).
