Stampin’ Up! Wonderland for Sunday Stamps

I used the new stamp set called Wonderland from the upcoming Stampin’ Up! 2015 Holiday Catalog to create my card for the Sunday Stamps SSC108 sketch.

Here is the Sunday Stamps SSC108 sketch.  Be sure to stop by the Sunday Stamps blog to check out what the other Design Team Members have created with this sketch and be sure to play along too!

The basic design for my card was inspired by a beautiful card made by Mimi Jourdain that you can see here.

I started by stamping the tree image from the Wonderland stamp set (available Sept 1) across a panel of Whisper White card stock in Basic Black Archival Ink (available Sept 1).  I stamped some of the images at full strength and some without reinking to give the image a little more depth.

Then I tore the bottom 1/2″ off the stamped panel and sponged it with Soft Sky ink in the center and Night of Navy ink around the edges.

Wonderland 3 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the snowflake images from the Wonderland stamp set across the stamped panel in Whisper White Craft Stampin’ Ink, then adhered the panel to a Thick Whisper White card base with SNAIL.  I used the low setting on my Heat Tool to speed up the drying process for the craft ink, but that isn’t necessary.

I stamped the sentiment from the Wonderland stamp set in Basic Black Archival ink (using my Stamp-a-ma-jig to help with placement) below the focal panel and added a single Rhinestone Basic Jewel to finish the card front.

Wonderland 4 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the sentiment from the Wonderland stamp set in and from the Versatile Christmas stamp set in Basic Black Archival Ink (using my Stamp-a-ma-jig to help with placement) on a Whisper White panel inside the card.  I also inked up the pine bow image in Night of Navy ink, stamped it on scrap paper twice and then stamped it over the sentiment.

  1. This is so beautiful! An awesome alternative to traditional red and green cards for the holidays. I just made 83 cards in red and green so this looks so refreshing!
