I used the Stampin’ Up! stamp set called Peaceful Wreath to create three clean and simple cards to share with you today. The holly wreath is such a beautiful image and I think that it works perfectly with the Christmas Greetings Thinlits Dies!
The design for my cards was inspired by CAS(E) this Sketch #138.
And the holly wreath was inspired by Merry Monday #170.
The first card that I created was very simple with the wreath image from the Peaceful Wreath stamp set stamped in Mossy Meadow ink on a panel of Mossy Meadow card stock.
I cut two of the sentiments with one of the Christmas Greetings Thinlits Dies from Mossy Meadow card stock and one from Red Foil Sheets and I adhered them together and to the card front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I added a layer of Red Foil Sheets under the stamped panel, then adhered the layered panel to a Crumb Cake card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I stamped the sentiment from the Peaceful Wreath stamp set in Cherry Cobbler ink and the holly image (stamped off twice) in Mossy Meadow ink, then added a layer of Mossy Meadow card stock for the inside of the card.
I stamped the Peaceful Wreath image in VersaMark and heat embossed it with Black Stampin’ Emboss Powder for this card.
I colored the image with Mossy Meadow, Cherry Cobbler and Crumb Cake Stampin’ Write Markers and added the die cut sentiment (two layers of Whisper White and one layer of Cherry Cobbler card stocks). I layered Cherry Cobbler card stock under it and adhered it to a Mossy Meadow card base.
The inside is similar to the card above only I added a layer of Cherry Cobbler under the main panel.
For this card, I stamped the image in VersaMark Ink, heat embossed it with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder and colored the berries with Real Red ink.
I added the die cut sentiment (two layers of Whisper White and one layer of Gold Foil Sheets) and adhered it to a panel from the Gold Foil Sheets. The card base is Thick Whisper White card stock.
I stamped the Peaceful Wreath sentiment in VersaMark and heat embossed it with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder, then stamped the holly image in Real Red ink (stamped off twice) over it. I added a layer of the Gold Foil Sheets under the main panel.
So which one is your favorite?? I love that all 3 were very easy to create! 🙂

Wow Amy, love the difference between the cards you created. I’ve not gotten on the foil bandwagon yet, but really, really like the way it peeks from behind and the “peace” greeting! 🙂 Can’t wait to have a little peace this weekend, very busy week with littlest starting pre-k and surprise visit from my parents 😉
Thanks Jill! Hope that your house is quiet this weekend so that you’ve got a little stamping time! 🙂
