Stampin’ Up! Flurry of Wishes in Blues

I used the Stampin’ Up! stamp set called Flurry of Wishes and the matching Snow Flurry Punch (and they come in a bundle for 15% off!!) to create my card to share today.

Flurry of Wishes - Stamp With Amy K

My card design was inspired by Retrosketches #180.

I started by adhering a panel of the Holidays Fancy Foil Designer Vellum to a Pool Party card base with SNAIL (only under the area covered by the main panel.  Then I embossed a panel of Whisper White card stock with the Softly Falling Embossing Folder.  I adhered the embossed panel to a panel of Bermuda Bay card stock and then to the card front with SNAIL.

Flurry of Wishes 1 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the snowflake images from the Flurry of Wishes photopolymer stamp set in VersaMark Ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock, sprinkled them with Clear Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed them.  I punched the images out with the Snow Flurry Punch and sponged them with Pool Party ink in the centers and Bermuda Bay ink around the edges.

Flurry of Wishes 3 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the sentiment from the Flurry of Wishes stamp set in VersaMark Ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock, sprinkled it with Clear Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed it.  I cut the sentiment out with one of the Tags & Labels Framelits and sponged it with Pool Party ink in the center and Bermuda Bay ink around the edges.  I adhered the sentiment to a Tags & Labels Framelits die cut from Bermuda Bay card stock with SNAIL.

Flurry of Wishes 2 - Stamp With Amy K

I adhered four of the snowflake stamped images to the card front with SNAIL, then adhered the sentiment and one snowflake with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added a few random Rhinestone Basic Jewels and one Winter Wonderland Embellishment (using a Glue Dot to adhere it) to finish the card front.

Flurry of Wishes 4 - Stamp With Amy K

I inked the Flurry of Wishes snowflake image in Pool Party ink, stamped them on scrap paper once, then stamped them on a Whisper White panel inside the card.  I added one of the sentiments from the Versatile Christmas stamp set in Bermuda Bay ink to finish the inside of the card.

  1. Love the way you’ve used the softly falling embossing folder to add the extra oomph! It really pulls all the other elements together, like those cool snowflakes! Nice icy card 🙂
