Stampin’ Up! Flurry of Wishes Merry Card

I used the Stampin’ Up! Flurry of Wishes stamp set and the Christmas Greetings Thinlits Dies to create my card to share today.

Flurry of Wishes - Stamp With Amy K

My card design was inspired by Freshly Made Sketches 205.

I started by embossing a panel of Soft Sky card stock with the Softly Falling Embossing Folder.  I adhered the embossed panel to a panel of Night of Navy card stock with SNAIL, then to a Thick Whisper White card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Flurry of Wishes 2 - Stamp With Amy K

I cut a banner from the Season of Cheer DSP pack with the largest Banner Framelits Die and I adhered it to the Soft Sky panel with SNAIL.  I cut banners from Night of Navy card stock, Soft Sky card stock and Dazzling Diamond Glimmer Paper with the smallest banner die from the Banners Collection Framelits Dies.  I tucked the banners under the larger banner and adhered them with SNAIL.

Flurry of Wishes 3 - Stamp With Amy K

I adhered a strip of Dazzling Diamond Glimmer Paper to the upper area on the card front, then added a strip of Night of Navy card stock over it with Fast Fuse adhesive.  I cut the sentiment with the Christmas Greetings Thinlits Dies from Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper and I adhered it with the Fine-Tip Glue Pen to the Night of Navy card stock panel.

Flurry of Wishes 1 - Stamp With Amy K

I pressed one of the Snowflake Elements into my Whisper White Craft Stampin’ Ink several times until one side was covered in ink, then I sprinkled it with Dazzling Diamonds Stampin’ Glitter.  I heated the snowflake with the level 2 setting on my Heat Tool to heat set the glitter, then adhered it to the card front with a Glue Dot.

Flurry of Wishes 4 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the snowflake images from the Flurry of Wishes photopolymer stamp set in Soft Sky ink across a Whisper White panel, then stamped the sentiment from the Flurry of Wishes stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink over the center of the panel on the inside of the card.

  1. This is such a beautiful Christmas card, Amy. I love the use of the glimmer paper for so many wonderful snippets of glitter and the brilliant way you made the snowflake element dazzling. Thanks for sharing with us at Freshly Made Sketches!
