We’re doing a weekly team blog hop with the Happy Stampers group, I hope that you enjoy our projects!  This week Sandi gave us a great sketch challenge to play along with.  I used the Vintage Leaves and Cheer All Year stamp sets to create my card for the hop.

Here is the sketch that I used for my card design:

I started by adhering a panel from the Into the Woods DSP pack to a panel of Mossy Meadow card stock with SNAIL, then to a Crumb Cake card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I cut a banner with one of the Banners Framelits Dies from Kraft Corrugated Paper.  I cut the banner in half and adhered half at the top of the card and half at the bottom of the card with SNAIL.

 I cut a banner from Mossy Meadow card stock with the largest Banners Framelits die and I trimmed about 1/8″ off the top.  I stamped the image from the Vintage Leaves photopolymer stamp set in Mossy Meadow ink across the banner, then stamped the sentiment from the Cheer All Year photopolymer stamp set across the banner in VersaMark Ink.  I sprinkled the sentiment with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed it.

I adhered the banner to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals, then pulled a strand of Linen Thread through a Gold Basic Metal Button, tied a bow and adhered it with a Glue Dot next to the sentiment.

I stamped the leaf image from the Vintage Leaves stamp set in Mossy Meadow ink across a Whisper White panel inside the card.
