Stampin’ Up! Among the Branches Fall Card

I used the Stampin’ Up! Among the Branches and Vintage Leaves stamp sets to create my card to share today.  I couldn’t resist doing another fall card since the leaves are still so pretty here in Atlanta!  This time I used a more neutral color scheme.

Among the Branches - Stamp With Amy K

My card design was inspired by Mojo Monday 422.

And the theme for my card was inspired by The Card Concept 43.  I think that my card falls into the clean and layered category.

I started by sponging a little bit of Soft Suede ink on the inside of the Woodland Embossing Folder.  I placed a panel of Very Vanilla card stock inside the folder and ran it through my Big Shot, then adhered the panel to a Very Vanilla card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Among the Branches 2 - Stamp With Amy K

I cut a panel from the Farmers Market DSP and I sponged it with a little Soft Suede ink, then adhered it to the card front with SNAIL.  I adhered a strand of the 1-1/4″ Burlap Ribbon with Fast Fuse adhesive over the DSP layer.

Among the Branches 3 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped one leaf in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and one leaf in Soft Suede ink from the Vintage Leaves photopolymer stamp set on a panel of Very Vanilla card stock.  I cut the leaves out with the matching Leaflets Framelits Dies and sponged Soft Suede ink over both of them.  I adhered the leaves together with Glue Dots and to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals, then pulled a strand of Linen Thread through a Vintage Faceted Designer Button, tied a bow and adhered it to the leaves with a Glue Dot.

Among the Branches 1 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the sentiment from the Among the Branches photopolymer stamp set in Marina Mist ink on a panel of Very Vanilla card stock, punched it out with the 2″ Circle Punch, then adhered it with Fast Fuse and Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.  I stamped the sentiment from the Endless Thanks Photopolymer stamp set in Soft Suede ink on a small strip of Very Vanilla card stock, punched the ends with the Banner Punch, sponged a little Soft Suede ink on it, then adhered it to the sentiment circle.

Among the Branches 4 - Stamp With Amy K

I adhered a small piece of the Famers Market DSP to a Very Vanilla panel inside the card.

  1. Definitely think you nailed both the mojo and the concept card challenge. Great use of the leaves for the layer on the mojo sketch 🙂 My favorite add was the vintage button as a tribute to all the rain we’ve been having lately, lol! * that was just my take 😉

  2. Gorgeous card, love the neutral colours and then the pop of blue. That embossed background is perfect. I am so pleased our photo inspired you. Thanks for joining us at The Card Concept.

  3. Your card looks SO GOOD!! The pop of blue on the sentiment panel works so well here. Great stuff! Thanks for joining us at The Card Concept. 🙂

  4. been gone for long weekend, but just wanted to comment on how striking this card is! I love love love that pop of blue! of all the blues out there, I think this was the perfect one! A very complete, awesome card with all the textures and colors.
