As you read this, I’ll be packing my bags for a Stampin’ Up! weekend in Tampa with two of my team members! We’re attending the first ever OnStage Local event and we can’t wait to get there. We get to spend the weekend stamping and we also get a sneak preview of the upcoming 2016 Occasions Catalog so I’ll be taking lots of pictures to share with you soon!
I used the Stampin’ Up! Host Exclusive Six Sayings stamp set to create a clean and simple card to share with you today.
My card design was inspired by Can You Case It #94.
I started by stamping the sentiment from the Six Sayings stamp set in Mossy Meadow ink across the side of a Mossy Meadow card base.
I adhered a panel from the Into the Woods DSP pack to the Mossy Meadow card base with SNAIL, then added a thin strip of Soft Suede card stock with a little Multipurpose Liquid Glue right next to the DSP panel.
I pulled a strand of Linen Thread through a Gold Basic Metal Button, tied a bow and adhered it to the card front with a Glue Dot to finish it.
I added a little strip of the Into the Woods DSP to a Whisper White panel inside the card.
And because I liked the layout so well and I already had the stamp set and designer paper out, I made a few variations of this card.
For these two cards, the card base and ink are Rich Razzleberry and the button is from the Brights Designer Buttons pack.
You can find a complete list of supplies, including card stock cuts, at the very bottom of this post.
