Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Pines for The Paper Players

I used the Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Pines stamp set to create my card for The Paper Players CAS challenge this week.

The design for my card was inspired by Freshly Made Sketches 212.

I started by adhering a panel from the Winter Wonderland Specialty DSP to a panel from the Gold Foil Sheets with SNAIL, then to a Real Red card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Peaceful Pines 2 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the tree image from the Peaceful Pines stamp set in VersaMark Ink twice on a panel of Mossy Meadow card stock.  I sprinkled the images with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed them, then cut them out with the Perfect Pines Framelits Dies.

Peaceful Pines 3 - Stamp With Amy K

I adhered the two tree images to the card front with SNAIL, then cut the sentiment from Red Foil Sheets with one of the Christmas Greetings Thinlits Dies.  I adhered the die cut sentiment to the card front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Peaceful Pines 1 - Stamp With Amy K

I punched two stars from Gold Foil Sheets with the star punch from the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack and I adhered them to the top of the trees with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Peaceful Pines 4 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the sentiment from the Peaceful Pines stamp set in Real Red ink on a panel of Whisper White inside the card, then inked the tree image in Mossy Meadow ink, stamped it on scrap paper twice and stamped it next to the sentiment.

  1. This is really cute and I like the fact that it can be done in just a few minutes! We need more of these CAS cards for the next few weeks!

  2. This is just perfect for a CAS card….love those pretty trees, especially with the gold stars and that red foil “merry”! I haven’t gotten any of that paper, but I am thinking I might need it now!
