Stampin’ Up! Picture Perfect for The Paper Players

I’ve got a sneak peek at the Stampin’ Up! Picture Perfect and What I Love stamp sets for my card for The Paper Players color challenge this week.  I’m so sad that this is my last challenge as a guest designer, I’ve really enjoyed being a part of this group!  Such a talented bunch of stampers, thanks so much for the opportunity!

Be sure to stop by The Paper Players blog to check out the awesome projects created by the other Design Team Members.  And be sure to play along too!  🙂  The color scheme certainly screams holiday…but I took those colors and went a completely different direction.  I thought they were perfect for a Ruby Throated Humming Bird!  Here are the colors for PP274:

Screen Shot 2015-11-21 at 2.44.16 PM

I started by stamping the humming bird images from the Picture Perfect photopolymer stamp set (available Jan 5) in Mossy Meadow and Cherry Cobbler inks on a panel of Very Vanilla card stock.

Picture Perfect 1 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the outline flower images from the What I Love photopolymer stamp set (Sale-a-bration item, available Jan 5) in Cherry Cobbler ink, then I inked up the flower centers in Cherry Cobbler ink, stamped them off once and stamped them on the Very Vanilla panel.

Picture Perfect 3 - Stamp With Amy K

I inked the leaf image from the What I Love stamp set in Mossy Meadow ink, stamped it off once and stamped it around the flower images.  I stamped the sentiment from the What I Love stamp set in Cherry Cobbler ink on the panel, then adhered the stamped panel to a panel of Cherry Cobbler card stock with SNAIL.

Picture Perfect 2 - Stamp With Amy K

I adhered the layered panel to a Mossy Meadow card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals, then added a Metal Rimmed Pearl next to the sentiment.

What I Love - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the flower images from the What I Love stamp set again in Cherry Cobbler and Mossy Meadow inks on a Very Vanilla panel inside the card.
