I used the Stampin’ Up! Sunburst Sayings and Sunburst Thinlits dies from the 2016 Occasions Catalog to create my card to share today. I should warn you that it’s a little bright! 🙂
See…you almost need your shades to look at it!
I started by cutting panels of Crushed Curry and a panel of Whisper White card stocks with the Sunburst Thinlits die (available Jan 5). The original panels were a bit oversized since I wanted to be able to layer them off-set a bit and have them both go right up to the edge of the background panel.
I stamped the dotted line image from the Sunburst Sayings stamp set (available Jan 5) in Crushed Curry ink down the centers of of the Crushed Curry die cut, then I added a little Multipurpose Liquid Glue (so that I had a little wiggle time) to the back of the die cut and I adhered it to the Whisper White die cut. Then I adhered the layered die cuts to a Soft Sky card stock panel with SNAIL and I trimmed the excess paper off.
I stamped the sentiment from the Sunburst Sayings stamp set in VersaMark Ink on a panel of Daffodil Delight card stock sprinkled it with Black Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed it. I punched the sentiment out with the 1-3/8″ Circle Punch, adhered it to a 1-1/2″ Circle Punch from Crushed Curry card stock with SNAIL and then to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I adhered the Soft Sky panel to a Whisper White panel of card stock with SNAIL, then to a Daffodil Delight card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals and I added a single Rhinestone Basic Jewel for a little more brightness.
I stamped the sentiment from the Sunburst Sayings stamp set in Crushed Curry ink and the dot images in Daffodil Delight ink on a Whisper White panel inside the card.

I Love your wee bit of white under the dotted yellow startburst, Amy! Stellar! The light blue helps to tone the brightness down a bit too! Great choices~
Thanks Roberta! 🙂
Bold and bright! Love it! I have to figure out how you did the soft sky and white…..love how it looks….
Thanks Linda! Super easy, adhered the two die cuts together and then to a solid 3-5/8″ x 4-7/8″ Soft Sky panel. Trimmed the extra from the die cuts away and then adhered the Soft Sky to a 3-3/4″ x 5″ Whisper White panel. Hope that helps! 🙂
Love this! I haven’t decided if I NEED this set or just WANT it… 🙂
