Stampin’ Up! Hello with Grateful Bunch

I used the Stampin’ Up! Hello and Grateful Bunch stamp sets to create my card to share today.  The Hello stamp set and the designer paper that I used for the background are both Sale-a-bration Exclusive items that will only be available until Feb 15.

Hello - Stamp With Amy K

My card design was inspired by Retrosketches #196.

And the colors for my card were inspired by Can You Case It #101.

Screen Shot 2016-01-05 at 9.27.46 PM

I started by adhering a panel from the Awesomely Artistic DSP pack (Sale-a-bration item available until Feb 15) to a panel of Sahara Sand card stock with SNAIL.

Hello 1 - Stamp With Amy K

I adhered a smaller panel of the Awesomely Artistic DSP over the larger panel with SNAIL, then adhered the layered card stock to a Rich Razzleberry card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Hello 3 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the sentiments from the Hello stamp set (Sale-a-bration item available until Feb 15) in Rich Razzleberry and Bermuda Bay inks on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  I inked the line image from the Hello stamp set in Sahara Sand ink, stamped in on scrap paper once, then stamped it on the Whisper White panel.  I punched both ends of the sentiment panel with the Banner Triple Punch and adhered it to the card front with SNAIL.

Hello 2 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the flower images from the Grateful Bunch stamp set in Rich Razzleberry ink twice on a panel of the Awesomely Artistic DSP.  I used my Blender Pen and a little Bermuda Bay ink to add some color to the flower petals and I punched them out with the Blossom Bunch Punch.  I adhered the flowers together with Glue Dots and to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals, then added a Rhinestone Basic Jewel to the smaller flower center and an Iced Rhinestone Embellishment to the larger flower.

Hello 4 - Stamp With Amy K

I inked the line image from the Hello stamp set in Sahara Sand ink, stamped it off once and stamped two rows of lines across a Whisper White panel, then inked it in Rich Razzleberry ink, stamped it off once and stamped it over the two Sahara Sand lines on the inside of the card.

  1. Love this a LOT. Now I’m going to wish I’d just bitten the bullet and done the bundle to get the punch. One might think I’d learn, but…apparently not. Gorgeous card, Amy! 🙂

  2. I was wondering how you did the cyan and white swirls on the layer just above the Rich Razzleberry layer. Great card! It used to be a great struggle for me to develop pleasing combinations using Rich Razzleberry with other colors.

  3. Love that DSP, Amy! It may have to go on my wish list. These colors really work well together. I really like everything about your card and would like to CASE it.

  4. I really love the Rich Razzleberry with the Sahara Sand, it looks so rich together. I thought at first Blackberry Bliss, but I like this one better 🙂 The crowning touch – the SAB dsp – the color is awesome!! Can’t wait to get my stuff!

    • Thanks Jill! I started with Blackberry Bliss in my hand and then changed my mind at the last second…I think the Rich Razzleberry lightens the card up a bit. And I love this DSP pack! I may have picked up 2 (or 5) packs of it myself!! 😉

  5. Great card Amy! That new DSP looks awesome and I love the flowers stamped in Rich Razzleberry and then coloured with Bermuda Bay! Fantastic take on this weeks colours. Thanks for playing along this week at Can You Case It? Rochelle xo

  6. Amy, Love your card!! Great use of the DSP and the colors!! Oh and I just love, love your flowers!!! Thanks for joining us at CYCI!! Laura
