I used the Stampin’ Up! A Nice Cuppa stamp set and Cups & Kettle Framelits Dies to create my card to share today.
My card design was inspired by Mojo Monday 429.
The colors for my card were inspired by Global Design Project #GDP017.
And the little warm heart on my card was inspired by The Card Concept #46.
I started by adhering a larger panel from the Love Blossoms DSP Stack to a Whisper White panel with SNAIL, then to a Crumb Cake card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I adhered a smaller panel from the Love Blossoms DSP stack to a panel of Garden Green card stock and then to the card front with SNAIL. Then I adhered a strip from the Love Blossoms DSP stack to a panel of Whisper White card stock and then to the card front with SNAIL. I cut a circle from Whisper White card stock with a Circles Collection Framelits die and adhered it over the DSP layers with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I stamped the teacup image from the A Nice Cuppa photopolymer stamp set in Crumb Cake ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock and I stamped the sentiment in Garden Green ink over it. Then I stamped the tag image in Garden Green ink, used my Blender Pen and a little Rose Red ink to color the center block and cut both of the images out with the matching Cups & Kettle Framelits dies.
I adhered a small strand of Whisper White Baker’s Twine to the back of the teacup, then adhered the teacup to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I attached the tag image to the end of the Baker’s Twine with a Glue Dot, then added another Glue Dot to adhere the tag to the teacup.
I cut the heart from Rose Red card stock with the Cups & Kettle Framelits Die and adhered it with a touch of Multipurpose Liquid Glue to the card front. Then I added a single Rhinestone Basic Jewel to the center of the heart to finish the card front.
I adhered a strip of Love Blossoms DSP to a Whisper White panel inside the card.

Yes! The stamp set is available individually as well. 🙂
Your card is delightful! Your use of multiple designer papers and clever layering dresses up the card perfectly. (I need to take a lesson from your mix of textures and designs.)
Thanks Melanie! I struggle a bit with mixing DSP…this card was a bit out of my comfort zone, but I liked the way that it came together. 🙂
What a nice cozy cuppa tea Amy 🙂 That is an awesome die cut for the heart! It is the perfect topper for the cup and I bet it’s a good stand alone for Valentine’s too….hmmm, the possibilities!
