Stampin’ Up! Number of Years Birthday Card

I used the Stampin’ Up! Number of Years and Love You Sew Host Exclusive stamp sets to create a birthday card to share today.  As you read this, I’ll be boarding the plane to head to Salt Lake City for the Stampin’ Up! OnStage event.  I’ll be saying hello from Utah soon!  🙂

Number of Years 2 - Stamp With Amy K

My card design is loosely based on CAS(E) this Sketch #167.

The colors for my card were inspired by Hand Stamped Sentiments #235.

Screen Shot 2016-04-12 at 12.01.59 PM

I started by stamping the sentiment from the Number of Years photopolymer stamp set in Smoky Slate ink across the top of a Whisper White card stock panel. I stamped the number image from the Number of Years stamp set in Pool Party ink on a separate panel of Whisper White card stock and cut it out with the matching Large Numbers Framelits Dies.

I placed the die cut image on the Whisper White card stock panel without adhering it so that I could get an idea for placement of the other images.  I stamped the Happy and Birthday sentiments from the Number of Years stamp set in Smoky Slate ink on the lower part of the panel, then removed the die cut piece.

Number of Years 3 - Stamp With Amy K

I  stamped the confetti image from the Love You Sew Host Exclusive stamp set in Blackberry Bliss, Pool Party and Smoky Slate inks several times across the Whisper White panel, then adhered the die cut image to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I adhered the stamped panel to a panel of Blackberry Bliss card stock with SNAIL, then to a Smoky Slate card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Number of Years 4 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the sentiment from the Remembering Your Birthday stamp set in Blackberry Bliss ink, then stamped the confetti image from the Love You Sew Host Exclusive stamp set in Blackberry Bliss, Pool Party and Smoky Slate inks across the corner of a Whisper White panel inside the card.

  1. Great take on the sketch, such a cute card! I love that you finish the inside of your cards and appreciate all the details you share with us. That confetti inside just tops it off! TFS

  2. Really like the way your card turned out! What a super cool idea to use the confetti to add depth behind the 5 🙂

I bet you have landed and are having a GREAT time in Utah! Take care and enjoy 😉
