Stampin’ Up! In the Meadow Just a Note

I used the Stampin’ Up! In the Meadow, Lovely as a Tree and Watercolor Wishes stamp sets to create my card to share today.  You all inspired me to pull out my Lovely as a Tree stamp set after so many of you mentioned that it was your all-time favorite Stampin’ Up! stamp set.  🙂

In The Meadow - Stamp With Amy K

I did see a similar card that was created by Sierra Stamper on Split Coast stampers and you can see it here.  Thanks so much for the inspiration!

The theme for my card was inspired by Global Design Project GDP#031.

The pattern on the background was inspired by Cupcake Inspirations Challenge 355.

I started by adhering a panel from the English Garden DSP to a Soft Suede card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

In The Meadow 2 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the mountain images from the In the Meadow stamp set in Smoky Slate ink twice across a panel of Whisper White card stock.  I used an Aqua Painter and a little Smoky Slate, Crumb Cake, Marina Mist and Soft Sky ink and I watercolored the panel.  I let the panel dry completely before proceeding.

In The Meadow 3 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the pine tree image from the Lovely As A Tree stamp set in Mossy Meadow ink several times across the panel, then stamped the sentiment from the Watercolor Wishes stamp set in Soft Suede ink on the panel.

In The Meadow 1 - Stamp With Amy K

I adhered the watercolor panel to a panel of Mossy Meadow card stock with Fast Fuse Adhesive, then to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added a single Smoky Slate Candy Dot from the Neutrals Candy Dots pack next to the sentiment to finish the card front.

In The Meadow 4 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the mountain image from the In the Meadow stamp set in Soft Suede ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock inside the card.

  2. You’ve created a lovely scene; it reminds me of Lake Louise, in Banff National Park, where my husband and I often hike! Pretty, scenic, majestic! So glad you shared your artistry in the Cupcakes Inspiration Pattern challenge!
