Stampin’ Up! Watercolor Words with In Color Sneak Peeks!

I used the Stampin’ Up! Watercolor Words stamp set along with the new In Colors from the upcoming 2016-17 Annual Catalog to create my cards to share today.

I also added a huge pile of pictures from the OnStage Live Display Boards to my Facebook page, so head over there and grab a cup of coffee and scroll down a bit…there are over 130 pictures posted!!

Watercolor Words - Stamp With Amy K

The layout for my cards was inspired by Global Design Project #032.

I pulled out the new Playful Palette DSP Stack (available June 1) and went to work stamping and assembling a little stack of these cards.

Watercolor Words 2 - Stamp With Amy K

I adhered a panel of the Playful Palette DSP to a panel of card stock (in this case, I used Sweet Sugarplum – available June 1), the cut one of the Metallic Foil Doilies into 3 pieces and adhered a piece to the DSP with SNAIL.

Watercolor Words 4 - Stamp With Amy K

I cut the leaves with the Botanical Builders Framelits Dies from Emerald Envy card stock (available June 1) and adhered them with Multipurpose Liquid Glue to the card front.  I wrapped a strand of Very Vanilla Thick Baker’s Twine around the panels and tied a bow, then adhered the panels to a card base (in this case, Dapper Denim – available June 1).

Watercolor Words 1 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the sentiment from the Watercolor Words photopolymer stamp set in corresponding ink colors (in this case, Blushing Bride) on panels of Very Vanilla card stock and adhered them to the card stock panels that matched the ink colors.  I adhered the layered panels to the card fronts with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Watercolor Words 3 - Stamp With Amy KI added two Pearl Basic Jewels to the card fronts to finish them.

Watercolor Words 5 - Stamp With Amy K

I adhered strips from the Playful Palette DSP Stack to Very Vanilla card stock panels inside the cards.
