Stampin’ Up! Love & Affection With the New In Colors

I used the Stampin’ Up! Love & Affection stamp set and two of the new In Colors from the upcoming 2016-17 Annual Catalog to create my card to share today.

Love & Affection - Stamp With Amy K

My card design was inspired by RetroSketches #213.

My card design was also inspired by Stamp Ink Paper #46.  I went down the left side: Flowers, Bling, Pink.

Screen Shot 2016-05-05 at 3.42.54 PM

I started by adhering a strip of the Playful Palette Designer Washi Tape (available June 1) to a panel of Whisper White card stock.  Then I stamped the sentiment from the Love & Affection photopolymer stamp set (available June 1) in Sweet Sugarplum ink (available June 1) on a panel of Whisper White card stock.

Love & Affection 1 - Stamp With Amy K

I adhered the stamped panel to a panel of Sweet Sugarplum card stock (available June 1) with SNAIL, then to a Flirty Flamingo card base (card stock available June 1) with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Love & Affection 3 - Stamp With Amy K

I cut flowers and leaves from Flirty Flamingo, Sweet Sugarplum, Daffodil Delight and Cucumber Crush card stocks with the Botanical Builder Framelits Dies, then adhered the flowers together with Multipurpose Liquid Glue and to the card front with Glue Dots.

Love & Affection 2 - Stamp With Amy K

I adhered Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the centers of the flowers and randomly over the card front to finish it.

Love & Affection 4 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the flower images from the Love & Affection stamp set in Flirty Flamingo and Sweet Sugarplum inks on a panel of Whisper White card stock on the inside of the card.

  1. Lovely card Amy and I am absolutely over the moon for these new incolors, what a great way of displaying them

  2. Beautiful! Believe it or not, I’ve bought numerous rolls of Washi tape but have yet to put it on a card. You may have just pushed me over!! Lol. Love everything about your card. TFS 😃

    • Thanks Barb…I have a hard time using Washi Tape too. But after seeing how many rolls that I bought and never opened last year, I’m on a mission to make sure that I use it up this year. 🙂

  3. Wow Amy, loving this card! I know I said I wasn’t too keen on the new colors, but I am seeing them in a new light. You are doing an awesome job showcasing them 🙂 Btw, your bling rocks this card!!

  4. Your card is so pretty Amy! Those colors were meant for those botanical blooms dies 🙂 Love how you used the washi tape strip – I have too many rolls sitting in a box still in their packaging. I’m going to make an effort to use some up this year 🙂

  5. Gorgeous card and gorgeous colors !! This is a perfect card with these new colors I can’t wait for them to come out. Live the Washi tape too.

  6. Amy, your card is absolutely gorgeous! I LOVE the flirty flamingo and that washi tape is fabulous and I loved how you used it! Such a great layout! Thanks so much for joining us at Stamp, Ink, Paper for our Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge this week!
