Stampin’ Up! Sheltering Tree Hello

I used the Stampin’ Up! Sheltering Tree stamp set to create my card to share today.

Sheltering Tree - Stamp With Amy K

My card design was inspired by Retrosketches #215.

My card colors were inspired by Global Design Project GDP#036.

Screen Shot 2016-05-17 at 1.54.35 PM

I started by adhering three strips from the 2015-2017 In Color Designer Washi Tape (retiring, host exclusive item) to the front of a Thick Whisper White card base.

Sheltering Tree 1 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the tree and leaf images from the Sheltering Tree photopolymer stamp set in Tip Top Taupe and Mint Macaron inks (one time without reinking).  I inked the grass image in Mint Macaron ink, stamped it on scrap paper, then stamped it under the trees.  I added the little flower images in Watermelon Wonder and Mint Macaron inks as well.

Sheltering Tree 3 - Stamp With Amy K

I cut the sentiment with the Hello You Thinlits die twice from Tip Top Taupe and once from Mint Macaron card stocks.  I adhered the die cuts together and to the stamped panel with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Sheltering Tree 2 - Stamp With Amy K

I adhered the stamped panel to a panel of Tip Tip Taupe card stock with SNAIL, then to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added a single Rhinestone Basic Jewel next to the sentiment.

Sheltering Tree 4 - Stamp With Amy K

I adhered strips of the 2015-2017 In Color Designer Washi Tape to a Whisper White panel inside the card.

You can find a complete list of supplies, including card stock cuts, at the very bottom of this post.

Heading Out for the Mediterranean Cruise Today!

Cruise

I’m heading out for the Stampin’ Up! Mediterranean Cruise this afternoon!  I’m so excited for this trip and wanted to say a huge thank you to my customers and my team for helping me to earn it!  I do have the best customers and team members in the world!

I do have some blog posts set and ready to go while I’m gone, so hopefully you won’t miss me too much.  😉  But I have heard that internet on the cruises can be a bit unreliable.  I’m hoping to be able to check in to answer emails at least daily, but please understand if I’m not able to answer as quickly as I usually do.

I am planning to take lots of pictures and I hope to be sharing them along the way.  See you all when I return on May 29!
