I used the Stampin’ Up! Swirly Bird stamp set from the upcoming 2016-17 Annual Catalog to create a quick card to share today.
My card design was inspired by CAS(E) this Sketch #173.
I started by stamping the kite images from the Swirly Bird photopolymer stamp set in Wisteria Wonder, So Saffron, Pear Pizzazz and Smoky Slate inks on a panel of Whisper White card stock.
I stamped the sentiment from the Tin of Cards photopolymer stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink over the kit images. Then I adhered the stamped panel to a panel of So Saffron card stock with SNAIL and to a Wisteria Wonder card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I added a single Rhinestone Basic Jewel next to the sentiment to finish the card front.
I stamped the kit images from the Swirly Bird stamp set in Wisteria Wonder, Pear Pizzazz and Smoky Slate inks on a panel of Whisper White card stock inside the card.
Speedy quick and I love the way that this turned out! 🙂

Amy, You are the best at interpreting sketches! Such a meaningful CAS card… I’m loving it!
Thanks Melanie! 🙂
Thank you so much for showing us the awesome ways we can use this set! How awesome are those kites you created for the sketch 🙂
You all are probably out to sea today. My husband was US Navy, not always easy for communications while underway. I’m sure you all are busy on board having fun!
Thanks Jill! We spent the day touring around the Amalfi Coast and touring the ruins at Pompeii, it was fantastic! Finally have some decent internet access while in port, so I’m trying to get as much done as quickly as I can! 🙂
Lol, I forgot the time difference between here and there! Rest up 😀
Will do! 🙂
Oh I love this card! Very very creative and pretty! 🙂
Thanks Mary! 🙂
Hi Amy. In the new catalogue there’s a stamp set called “Sitting Here”. It’s so stinking cute!! Do I just have to wait till June 1 to order it? Do you have a waiting list? I wouldn’t want it to sell out before I can get to it. Thanks Amy☺️
