Stampin’ Up! Jar of Haunts Grateful Card

I used the Stampin’ Up! Jar of Haunts stamp set from the upcoming 2016 Holiday Catalog to create my card to share today.

My card design was inspired by Freshly Made Sketches 251.

I started by embossing a panel of watercolor paper with the Brick Wall Embossing Folder.  I sponged Cajun Craze ink lightly over the raised areas and then adhered the panel to a panel of Cajun Craze card stock with SNAIL.

I adhered a panel from the Petals & Posies Specialty DSP (available Sept 1) to a panel of Cajun Craze card stock and then to the embossed panel with SNAIL.  I wrapped a strand of the Delightful Dijon 5/8″ Mini Striped Ribbon around the panel and I adhered it with SNAIL.  I adhered the layered panel to a Delightful Dijon card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the pumpkin images from the Jar of Haunts photopolymer stamp set (available Sept 1) in Basic Gray Archival ink on a panel of watercolor paper.  I used an Aqua Painter to do a watercolor wash in Mint Macaron ink on the background and then I painted the pumpkin in Mint Macaron and Cajun Craze inks.  I let the image dry completely and then cut it out with a Layering Ovals Framelits die.  I adhered the pumpkin image to a scalloped oval that I’d cut from Cajun Craze card stock with a Layering Ovals Framelits die and then to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I did a watercolor wash with Cajun Craze ink on another panel of watercolor paper, let it dry and then stamped the sentiment banner from the Endless Thanks photopolymer stamp set in Cajun Craze and Basic Gray Archival inks.  I cut the banner out and adhered it to the card front with SNAIL.  I stamped the flower and leaf images from the Jar of Love stamp set in Cajun Craze, Delightful Dijon and Mint Macaron inks on a panel of watercolor paper.  I cut the images out with the matching Everyday Jars Framelits dies and adhered them to the card front with Glue Dots.

Jar of Haunts 4 - Stamp With Amy K

I inked the pumpkin images from the Jar of Haunts stamp set in Cajun Craze and Mint Macaron inks, stamped them on scrap paper and then stamped them on a panel of Very Vanilla card stock on the inside of the card.
