I used the Stampin’ Up! Star of Light bundle to create a clean and simple card to share with you today.
The colors for my card were inspired by Global Design Project #053.
I started by stamping the swirl image from the Star of Light photopolymer stamp set twice in Night of Navy ink across a panel of Night of Navy card stock. Then I stamped the sentiment from the Star of Light stamp set in VersaMark Ink on the panel, sprinkled it with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed it.
I adhered the stamped panel to a panel from the Gold Foil Sheets with SNAIL and then to a Night of Navy card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals. The I cut a star with the Starlight Thinlits Die from Gold Foil Sheets and slightly folded the star on the score lines. I adhered the die cut to the card front with two Stampin’ Dimensionals stacked on top of each other in the center.
I cut a panel of Watermelon Wonder card stock with another die from the Starlight Thinlits Dies and adhered it over the Gold Foil star with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I cut stamped the smallest star image from the Star of Light stamp set in VersaMark Ink on a panel from the Gold Foil Sheets, sprinkled it with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed it.
I cut the star out with matching Starlight Thinlits Die and adhered it with a Glue Dot to the card front. I added a single Rhinestone Basic Jewel to the center of the star to finish it.
I stamped the sentiment from the Star of Light stamp set in Night of Navy ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock. I inked the swirl image in Night of Navy ink, stamped it on scrap paper twice and then stamped it on the Whisper White panel. I repeated that process and then adhered the panel inside the card base with SNAIL.
