Stampin’ Up! Twinkle Trees CAS Christmas Card

I used the Stampin’ Up! Twinkle Trees and Time of Year stamp sets to create a clean and simple Christmas card share today.

My card design was inspired by Freshly Made Sketches #256.

I started by adhering a panel from the Warmth & Cheer DSP Stack to a panel of Whisper White card stock with SNAIL and then to an Emerald Envy card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the tree images from the Twinkle Trees photopolymer stamp set in Mint Macaron (small dots), Emerald Envy (swirly decorations) and Delightful Dijon (small stars and larger star at the top) inks on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  I cut the image out with a Banners Framelits Die and then I trimmed about 1/4″ off the top of the die cut so that it fit better on the card front.

I stamped the “at” sentiment from the Time of Year Host Exclusive photopolymer stamp set next to the tree on the banner in Emerald Envy ink and then adhered the banner to the card front with SNAIL.  I stamped the banner from the Time of Year stamp set in Cherry Cobbler ink on a separate panel of Whisper White card stock and cut it out with the matching Bunch of Banners Framelits Die.

I adhered the banner over the tree image on the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals under the left side and SNAIL under the right side.  I added a single Rhinestone Basic Jewel on the sentiment banner to finish the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Peaceful Pines stamp set in Emerald Envy ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock and then added the star image from the Twinkle Trees stamp set in Delightful Dijon ink under it on the inside of the card.

  1. Love the sketch you chose – twinkle trees is perfect for that banner! Great color combination – not one I would have thought of for Christmas. That set is on my maybe list too …

    • Thanks Deepa! I “borrowed” the color scheme from a project that I saw in the Stampin’ Up! catalog. Definitely not the traditional Christmas colors, but I think that it works! You do “need” this stamp set, it’s so much fun! 🙂
