I used the Stampin’ Up! Vintage Leaves and host exclusive Time of Year stamp sets to create a fall masculine birthday card to share with you today. Michelle Last created a beautiful card with the Vintage Leaves stamp set and her project inspired mine. You can see Michelle’s card here.
My card design was inspired by Global Design Project #GDP058.
And the leaves on my project were inspired by The Paper Players PP317.
And because I loved the color challenge from Sunday Stamps this week, I made another card for Sunday Stamps SSC137. 🙂
I started by stamping the leaf image from the Vintage Leaves photopolymer stamp set in Sahara Sand ink on a panel of Sahara Sand card stock. I sponged the edges of the panel with Soft Suede ink. I adhered the panel to a panel of Early Espresso card stock with SNAIL and then to a Soft Suede card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I embossed a panel of Soft Suede card stock with the Cable Knit Embossing Folder and adhered it to the card front with SNAIL. Then I stamped the leaf image from the Vintage Leaves stamp set in Soft Suede ink on a smaller panel of Sahara Sand card stock. I stamped the “on your” sentiment from the Time of Year host exclusive photopolymer stamp set over the leaf image.
I sponged the edges of the Sahara Sand panel with Soft Suede ink and adhered it to a panel of Early Espresso card stock with SNAIL and then to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I stamped the birthday banner from the Time of Year stamp set in Early Espresso ink on a panel of Very Vanilla card stock and cut it out with the matching Bunch of Banners Framelits Die. I sponged the edges of the banner with Soft Suede ink and then adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I stamped the leaf image from the Vintage Leaves stamp set in Soft Suede and Sahara Sand inks on a Very Vanilla card stock panel inside the card.
