Stampin’ Up! Merry Medley Black, White & Red Card

I used the Stampin’ Up! Merry Medley stamp to create a clean and simple holiday card to share today.  There is a similar card in the Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalog and I used that as the starting point for my project.

I will also be a little difficult to reach today and tomorrow.  I’ll be at a World Card Making Day event all day today and I’ll be at the Stampin’ Up! OnStage event all day on Saturday.  I’ll have limited access to my email so I may not be able to respond to messages as quickly as I normally do.  So excited for both events!  The upcoming Stampin’ Up! 2017 Occasions Catalog will be unveiled at the event on Saturday.  I promise that I’ll take lots of pictures and share them next week as soon as I’m allowed.  🙂

I started by stamping the image from the Merry Medley stamp set in Whisper White Craft Stampin’ Ink on a panel of Basic Black card stock.  I let the image dry completely and then adhered it to a panel of Whisper White card stock with SNAIL.  I wrapped a strand of the Real Red 3/4″ Stitched Edge Ribbon around the panel, adhered it with SNAIL and then adhered the panel to a Real Red card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I cut three branches with the Pretty Pines Thinlits Dies from Garden Green card stock.  I snipped the ends off and adhered them together and to the card front with rolled up Glue Dots.  I cut a bow from Real Red card stock with the die from the Pretty Pines Thinlits Dies and adhered that over the pine branches with a rolled up Glue Dot.

I colored the sentiment and holly image from the Merry Medley stamp with my Basic Black, Real Red and Garden Green Stampin’ Write Markers and I stamped it on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  I punched the sentiment out with the 1-1/2″ Circle Punch and adhered it with SNAIL to a circle that I’d cut with a Layering Circles Framelits die from Basic Black card stock.

I cut the ornament image out with the Merry Tags Framelits die from Real Red card stock and  adhered the layered sentiment to it with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I tied a bow through the top of the ornament die cut with gold twine from the Baker’s Twine Trio Pack and then adhered the bow to the card front with a rolled up Glue Dot and the ornament with SNAIL.

I stamped the sentiment from the Christmas Pines stamp set in Real Red ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  I inked the pine branch image in Garden Green ink, stamped it on scrap paper once and then stamped it on the panel inside the card.
