  1. The variety of dies is amazing and they add so much to cards, but having the simplicity of just punching out an image (like the cookie cutter stamps) can be a real time saver when you are making a lot of cards.

  2. Hi Amy,
I enjoy the dies when I am working on several cards or a special cards. If I’m in a hurry I can always grab a punch and make one card fast.

  3. Punch or die cuts. A hard choice to make.
    Must say both.
IF I have a punch that works for what I want to do I will use the punch.
IF I want fancy I’ll chose die cuts if I have it.
Not having a lot of either I’m known to to fussy cut!

  4. While I would hate to totally give up my punches, I’d have to say that dies are my preference because they are more versatile in their placement on the paper. With punches I am somewhat limited in their placement but I sure do love how quick and easy they are when I need a large quantity of cut out images.

  5. I like using punches better, because for me, they are so much easier. Just Grab it and punch. But now that I have a room to craft in, dies will be easier, because my die cut machine is set up…yay!!!. I do like storing dies better. Thanks Amy for all the cute cards that you share.

  6. Hard to decide just between one, because they both have their advantages and disadvantages. I think I like the punches better on simple things basic shapes and outlines if there is only one thing on the punch or it matches the stamped image other wise you seem to waste paper. Then dies for more detail work or multiple items

  7. Love the dies! I’ve purposely placed my Big Shot across the room so I have to get up out my chair….gotta get a little exercise!! 🙂

  8. Oh wow, this is a tough one…punches or dies. I like them both and they each serve a purpose. Punches are quick and easy to use while dies add more detail to a finished product. I’d love to win this great blog candy. One can never have enough “stamping toys!”

  9. That’s a toughie! I guess I like the dies better, but I’ll never give up my punches! This is a most versatile bundle that you are offering, today. Thank you!!!

  10. Hi Amy… I love the dies and all the coordinating stampsets…I still like punches but dies are my go to favorite….

  11. It depends. If I am doing only one cut out, a punch is quick and easy. But for mass production, dies are definitely the way to go! Plus the dies offer so much more in intricate designs./

  12. Punches are easier to grab for a quick accent, but when I am making multiples, I tend to use dies… So both! Thanks for a chance to win!

  13. Happy Anniversary ! I love both but since all the dies are available I use them alot more. I have had this bundle on my wish list. I would LOVE to win.

  14. Hi, Amy! Congrats on 4 years! That’s wonderful and I do look forward to & enjoy your daily posts. I really love the dies as they give so much versatility and so easy to store. But punches definitely have their place as well. I would hate to do without either of them!

  15. Hi Amy,

Tough question, because I love (and WANT!) them all (dies and punches)!!! I like the way the dies are so easy to store, but I think punches win out! Punches are faster and easier to use. Most importantly, punches are portable! I tend to make multiples of things (for teachers, as party favors, etc.), so it’s nice to be able to punch in front of the tv. I also travel with my punches.

Thank you for another fun giveaway!

  16. I like both punches and dies. Although I prefer punches because they are usually quicker and less detailed but still great for adding to a card front.

  17. punches are the best when you are mass producing a card but the dies have so much intricate detail for that special card….frankly like many others I love both!

  18. I think I prefer the dies. I have them stored right at my fingertips in my desk drawer and the punches are just not as convenient to store. Thanks for being a kind and generous demonstrator. All the best to you, Amy.

  19. I really, really like them both! If I have to pick one I guess it would be dies. Thanks for a chance to win this awesome set!

  20. I like dies a little better. Mostly because of the stamp sets that you can bundle with them. Thanks for a chance to win!

  21. Hi Amy,
I like them both for different reasons. The dies because I can get matching stamp sets with the dies. The punches because they are fast and easy, like a quick round punch for instance.
    Thank you!

  22. I remember when I was scrapbooking years ago. I had to have every die cut out there. Still awed that I can now make my own die cuts. I love diess! Punches my be a little handier, but dies and especially when they coordinate with a stamp set – whoo-hoooooo! Thanks for the chance to win some fabulous blog candy and happy anniversary. Hope you celebrate many more wonderful years with Stampin UP!
