Stampin’ Up! Frosted Medallions Happy New Year

I used the Stampin’ Up! Frosted Medallions and Merriest Wishes stamp sets to create a Happy New Year card to share with you today.

My card design was inspired by CAS(E) this Sketch 198.

The metallic embossing on my card was inspired by Just Us Girls #369.

I started by stamping the snowfall image from the Merriest Wishes stamp set in VersaMark ink twice across the top and bottom of a panel of Basic Black card stock.  I sprinkled the images with Silver Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed them.

I moved the stamp up about 1/2″ and stamped the snowfall image twice across the top and bottom of the Basic Black card stock panel and heat embossed it with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder.  I adhered the embossed panel to a panel from the Gold Foil Sheets with SNAIL and then to a Basic Black card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Frosted Medallions stamp set in VersaMark Ink on a separate panel of Basic Black card stock, sprinkled it with Black Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed it.  I cut the sentiment out with a Layering Ovals Framelits Die and adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Frosted Medallions stamp set in Basic Black Archival Ink on a Whisper White panel inside the card.

Stitched Framelits Going on Backorder

Stampin’ Up! is happy that the Stitched Shapes Framelits have been so well received. And while they thought they had sufficient inventory to last through end of the year, the supply sold out in about two weeks!  From the beginning of the promotion, they could see that sales were exceeding their forecasts, and they immediately sent in a second shipping order.  Since then, sales have continued to increase.

Because of the extreme demand, the Stitched Shapes Framelits (item 145372) will go into backorder very soon, and will be placed on non-orderable status on November 21, 2016, at 10:00 AM (MT).  Additionally, when you enter this product’s item number in, you will receive a pop-up notification asking if you would like to be notified via email when this product is back in stock.  This allows you to find out immediately when the item’s status changes and it is again available for purchase.

Stampin’ Up! apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause for you. In the meantime, stamp sets included in the Stitched from the Heart promotion are still available, so be sure to take advantage of the sale while we wait for additional Framelits to arrive.
