I used the awesome Stampin’ Up! stamp sets called Beautiful You and Suite Sentiments from the upcoming 2017 Occasions Catalog to create my card to share today. I thought that the timing was perfect since we’re finally getting a little rain down south in Atlanta!
My card design was inspired by the sketch from Fusion this week.
I started by adhering a panel from the Falling in Love DSP (available Jan 4) to a panel of Sahara Sand card stock with SNAIL. I wrapped a strand of Gold 1/4″ Natural Trim around the panel, tied a small knot and then adhered the panel to a Blushing Bride card base with SNAIL.
I stamped the sentiment from the Suite Sentiments stamp set (available Jan 4) in VersaMark ink on the lower left side of the card base, sprinkled it with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed it. I added a gold enamel heart from the Metallic Enamel Shapes pack next to the sentiment.
I stamped the image of the woman and the watercolor lines image from the Beautiful You stamp set (available Jan 4) in Sahara Sand and Blushing Bride inks on a panel of Very Vanilla card stock. I cut the image out with a Layering Ovals Framelits die and adhered it with SNAIL to an oval cut from Sahara Sand card stock with another Layering Ovals Framelits die. I adhered the layered ovals to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I inked the image of the woman and the watercolored lines again in Sahara Sand and Blushing Bride inks, stamped them on scrap paper once and stamped them on a panel of Very Vanilla card stock inside the card.
Here is a quick peek at the Beautiful You stamp set…love the images and the sentiments!!
And here is the Suite Sentiments stamp set…love the sentiments in this one too!

I love your take on the sketch Amy, it’s brilliant! Too me, it’s like a reversal 😉 Gentle cool drizzle, I’d want to be curled up on that sofa with the candles burning bright, lol!
Thanks Jill! 🙂
Also wanted to say that I’ve seen a lot of cards with this stamp set, but I just love the way you used it. The dsp is perfect backdrop for the gentle rain 🙂 and such a beautiful faded image inside.

Amy K. Is Fusion sketches your invention or is it from Stampin’ Up. I’m always interested in ideas for cards. This sounds like there are some good ideas. Link won’t let me see retired list. Possibly my phone. Or I wish to see it too badly. LOL. I will ck back later. Thanks so much for the beautiful cards you make.
Thanks JoLene! Hope that you can get the link to the list to work on your computer. 🙂
