I used the Stampin’ Up! Mediterranean Moments stamp set to create my card to share with you today.

My card design was inspired by My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch Challenge 316.

I started by inking the larger image from the Mediterranean Moments stamp set in Soft Suede ink and stamping it on scrap paper, then stamping it on a panel of Very Vanilla card stock.  I sponged the edges of the panel with Soft Suede ink and then adhered the stamped panel to a panel of Soft Suede card stock with SNAIL.

I sponged the edges of a wide strip of Cupcakes & Carousels DSP with Soft Suede ink and I adhered it to the Soft Suede card stock panel with SNAIL.  I wrapped a strand of Very Vanilla 1/2″ Lace Trim around the panel over the seam between the two papers and adhered it on the back of the panel with tape.  I wrapped a strand of Linen Thread around the Lace Trim twice and tied a bow and then adhered the layered panel to the So Saffron card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the smaller image from the Mediterranean Moments stamp set in Soft Suede ink on a panel of Very Vanilla card stock and I used the Watercolor Pencils and a Blender Pen to add a little color to the image.  I was careful to try not to over blend so that the image didn’t smudge.  I cut the image out with a Layering Circles Framelits Die, sponged the edge with Soft Suede card stock and then adhered the die cut to a Layering Circles Framelits die cut from Soft Suede card stock with SNAIL.  I adhered the layered circles to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Dragonfly Dreams stamp set in Soft Suede ink on a panel of Very Vanilla card stock.  I cut the sentiment out with the banner die from the Gift Card Envelope & Trims Thinlits Dies, sponged the edges with Soft Suede ink and adhered it to the circle die cut with SNAIL.  I added a single Calypso Coral enamel dot from the Subtles Enamel Shapes pack to the sentiment banner to finish the card front.

I inked the smaller image from the Mediterranean Moments stamp set in Soft Suede ink, stamped it on scrap paper and then stamped it on a panel of Very Vanilla card stock inside the card.
